Detectives in my eyes
In my opinion, being a detective is no easy job. In many detective novels I have read, a detective is likely to be a professor, a doctor or even a Physics teacher. In real community, a policeman often does the job of a detective. So I think if a person has enough intelligence and skills to solve the crime, we can call him or her a detective. I conclude three main skills that a person who can be called a detective must have. Firstly, the detective must have the ability to select useful things from the clues available. If the detective can’t find the key to the crime, he will never solve the case. Secondly, the detective ought to own tight logic. He must deal with the information as well(By 358 陆匡立 )

Detectives in my eyesas collect useful clues. The faster a person think, the more quickly the problem will be solved. Most people usually think that a detective must have a high intelligence or very strong ability, but from my point of view, bravery is more essential. In fact, many cases are not easy to deal with. Sometimes the suspect may be a rich or powerful man. Even if detectives know the truth, some of them are afraid of telling it to the public. So I think those brave ones who always protect the innocent and find the truth is the greatest detectives. Excellent articles written by students (好文赏析)
Detectives in my eyes
From my point of view, a detective should have the following qualities. First, he or she should be skilled at detecting. For example, he or she must be careful enough to find all clues near the scene of the crime which may be of great help to solve the case. Second, he or she should be brave and always stay calm. Something unexpected may happen during the process of the detection, so a detective needs to be able to adapt to the changing surroundings. Last but not least, he or she must have the sense of responsibility and justice. I admire detectives, and they are just like heroes in my eyes.(By 312 乔 阳)

Detectives in my eyes
In my view, being a detective is a very extraordinary job. A detective needs to have excellent observation because he should find every useful clue. Also, a good detective never jumps to conclusions so he has to have carefulness. Since it is very difficult for the detective to find the criminal , a sharp mind is very important. Besides, I think being a detective is quite a meaningful job because the detective sends the guilty to prison and protect the innocent. Since childhood, I have been keen on reading detective stories. I also regard Sherlock Holmes as my idol and I dream to be a detective in the future. (By 357 刘轩豪)

Detectives in my eyes
In most people’s eyes, being a detective is a challenging and interesting job. Nevertheless, in my eyes the work of detectives is not only tiring, but also a bit boring. Why? First, one of the requirements of being a good detective is that he needs to master the skill of getting along with other people. If not, his employer will possibly be unsatisfied with him. Another fact is that detectives have to earn money too. To avoid being hungry to death, they have to deal with the valuable cases instead of interesting ones. Furthermore, not every detective is Sherlock, and not every case they deal with is so complicated. In many cases maybe they are only asked to follow suspects for a whole day. No doubt detective is a good job, but don’t take it too simply before you decide to take up this career. (By 368 张皓东)

Detectives in my eyes
As far as I am concerned, detectives are quite amazing. The reasons are listed as follows. To begin with, being detectives, they should have an extraordinary memory. Since clues of some cases are quite a lot, so they should bear everything in mind correctly. Then they may draw conclusions from these clues. Moreover, they are all gentlemen or gentlewomen. Take my favorite detective Sherlock Holmes as an example, he always wore Columbo with a long umbrella in his hand and a hat on his head, and these made him seem like a gentleman. Last but not least, they should adapt to different conditions. Since they always change their identities, they need to be able to fit in various situations. To put everything in a shell, detectives are extraordiary people in my eyes.(By 317 刘易昕)
