【同步精讲】
1.—How do you come to school 你怎么来学校的?
—Usually, I come on foot. 通常我走路来。
【点拨】就“交通方式”进行提问使用疑问词how,回答时也可直接使用on foot, by bike, by bus等短语。
按英语表达习惯,谈话者往往以自身位置作为参照来使用come或go。如果说话者身处校外,上面的问句应改为:How do you go to school 你是怎么去上学的?
2. That’s good exercise. 那是很好的锻炼。
【点拨】exercise在句子中是“锻炼,运动”的意思,用作不可数名词,它常与take, do等动词连用,如:
If you don’t take exercise, you’ll get fat. 如果不运动,你会发胖的。
exercise还以复数的形式出现在下面的短语里:do morning exercises(做早操); do eye exercises(做眼保健操)。
3、on foot, walk 走法不同
表示“步行去某地”,可用下列两种表达句式:
(1)go to +某地+ on foot
(2)walk to +某地 例如:
The kids walk to school.= The kids go to school on foot.
