Teaching Goals
1. Reinforce students’ comprehension of the text and improve their other skills by participating in all the activities..
2. Students are expected to gain some knowledge about keeping fit.
3. Help the students find the clues about the three e-mails.

Teaching Procedures：
Step 1 Lead-in
Enjoy some photos of the students’ favorite stars (Zhang Bozhi, Zhou Jielun,, Zhou Xun) and talk
about why they are popular with young people.
Step 2 Brainstorming
1. Do you think pictures of actors and actresses cause young people to worry about their looks? Why or why not?
2. Just now, you enjoyed some photos of stars. Most of them are very thin. But some people are worried about their weight. Do you know why some people are overweight?
(eating/drinking/sleeping too much, certain medicine, genetic , etc.)
3. I am a bit over-weight. I would like to lose weight. Could you give me some advice on how to lose weight? Are there any advantages or disadvantages?
Step 3 Listening and skimming
I. Listen to the text and answer the questions of Part A.
