二、教学设计
1、教学目标:
知识目标:通过听力训练手段了解动物的感官及相关英语词汇,提高听力技巧和能力;通过写作训练手段复习Task 1的Skills building 1 plotting a story 的三个构成部分:Exposition, Complication, Resolution ,提高故事构思策划能力和英语表达能力;完成相关练习。
能力目标:通过听力指导,提高学生获取关键信息的能力;通过指导和示范,提高学生运用英语构思和组织情节以及书面表达能力。
情感态度与价值观:通过任务型教学方式,激发兴趣,树立信心,培养自主学习能力和克服困难的意志;通过动物图片和对动物感官的了解和对比,使学生热爱生命,热爱大自然;通过看图说话,构思故事情节,激发学生的想象力。
2、内容分析:本课是Task的第二节课,学生已经在Welcome部分了解了人的感官(five senses: sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch)的相关情况和在前面的Task部分了解了故事情节的组成和策划方略并训练了故事情节的安排;本堂课在Task 1的基础上进一步了解动物的感官和怎样策划故事,通过听力练习和看图说话练习强化和拓展所学内容,巩固所学知识和提高听写能力。
3、学情分析:通过前面的学习,学生已具备了相应的知识和能力基础,但水平差异明显,对人和动物的感官有浓厚兴趣,想表达自己,但对故事策划和情节安排并没有把握。教师要设法调动学生的积极性和主动性,激发热情,使学生在练习中顺利完成任务,练有所获,习有所得。
4、设计思路:本节课主要是两个方面的练习,听的练习和写的练习,在练习中巩固所学知识,提高相应能力,完成相关任务。因此本堂课的设计思路是从练习入手,讲清要求,指导方法,激发兴趣,整合教材,化难为易,注意学生间的差异,圆满完成教学任务,充分体现教师的主导必和学生的主体地位。

通过一篇故事范文,再一次复习故事的结构,以小组讨论的方式找出故事的人物,情节、结尾和结局。在Part B的看图说话练习中,尽量帮助学生化难为易,通过提供关键词让学生描述图画内容,组成故事。

Go around the students to help them, checking their writings.
Write down the story in their exercise-books.
作为课后作业,把所描述的故事记下来,提高书面表达能力。教师巡视,提供指导和帮助。
四、教学反思
1、这节课还算比较成功,学生比较活跃。预设的教学目标和任务基本实现和完成。但学生的差异较大,在小组活动中少数基础差的学生参与不够,今后要设法调动他们的积极性,多多鼓励他们。
2、简化了步骤,明确了重点,多媒体课件的运用起到了重要的作用。但今后在多媒体课件的细节方面要更加完善,比如,要照顾视力较低弱的学生。
