In general
It is important that every student carefully studies the whole unit. The teacher will lead the students to talk about some magnificent structures by showing them a few pictures of the famous structures in the world Then they are asked to look at four pictures that show different structures on the screen. They are required to think about and discuss what other ancient civilizations do they know. they are encouraged to work in groups of four, each group will read the pictures on the screen and choose one apicture to talk and show about their opinions. Then they will finish a exercise individually to consolidate the vocabularies they get before. After that, the students are expected to explore more vocabulary about cultural heritage. At last, there will be a discussion on how to protect cultural heritage,
In detail
Step 1 Warming up (5minutes)
Enjoy the song "Rivers of Babylon"
1) Have you ever heard of his song
2) 2) What do you know about Babylon
3) If you had a Space and Time machine, where and when would you want to go
Get different students to give their opinions.
The students may mention that they want to be back to the past. Then the seven wonders of the world can be shown to them.(on the screen)
Step 2 Presentation (10minutes)
1. If you want to understand an ancient civilization,you must learn from the five parts.

Give a brief introduction of the five elements with the help of the following pictures(shown on the screen),

2. Ask the students to look at the pictures and discuss the following question.
Do these pictures have something in common
If so, please describe it with some adjectives, as many as you can.
Possible answers:magnificent, well-designed, ancient, famous, distant.
3. Go through the following descriptions for detailed information, and then fill in the form below.
