学情分析(Situation analysis of school):
? 学生在中年级和五年级时学习过big,small,thin,thick等类似的形容词.对形容词有一定的了解.但是学生对词义的理解比较困难.需要老师的帮助.所有的孩子对动画都感兴趣.根据以上几个方面情况.在本课时里设计了动画课件.通过动画演示thinner and thinner .通过对比演示学习bigger 和smaller.设计了巩固新词的游戏和复习课文用的练习.
设计思路(Design):
? 首先是对学生进行学习习惯的教育,然后对以前所学习的与本课有关的歌曲进行复习,从而导入新课题.再了解课文内容,让学生在动画课件中初步感知故事的大概,增强学生的学习兴趣.接下来,由课文句子引入新单词,逐个地学习新词,再通过两轮游戏(游戏时间不宜过长,否则,学生会厌烦)巩固新单词.学会新词,就可以结合学习过的单词朗读课文.要求在朗读过程中,学生先自读,老师再带读(留给学生一些自学的时间,效果会更佳)在学生能初步了解文章大概后,让学生再做与文章有关的练习题.帮助学生巩固所学的知识.

由句子引出新单词,是本课教学单词的新法。也是课件的特别之一。在单词教学中形象的对“bigger”和“smaller”进行了比较,而且,通过动画演示了“thinner and thinner”的过程。
