Step 1: Warming up
Sing a song: Our school

Step 2、Revision
What day is it today?
It is Monday/ Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday.

Step 3. Presentation and drill.
1、Look at the book .This is a Science book. Learn to spell “Science” and write down the phrases on the blackboard.
2、Learn the words using the same way: Maths Music Social Studies Art PE

4、T : Do you have Maths / Chinese/? (Let a student answer using “Yes, we do”.Then teacher tells them “We have Maths /Chinese every day.”)

【设计意图：首先，以实物的方式认识关于课程的单词；接着，以活动的方式帮助学生记住课程名称以及用途；接下来，用学过的句型巩固所学的单词；通过句型练习让学生明确哪些课程是每天都有的，有些课程在星期几才有。这里，用到了刚才操练的关于星期的单词。
Step4.Practice:
1、Play the game :Catch the books
Let two students stand in the same line , when the teacher speaks“Catch the English book, ready go!” the two students must run and catch the right book on the teacher's desk. The student who catches it correctly first, who will win.
2、Practice the dialogue above two a group.
3、Let the students show on their timetable this year . Let some students ask and answer loudly in front of the students.
【设计意图：以游戏的方式，巩固所学单词，激发学生学习兴趣；在谈论本班课程表的对话中，练习本节课的句型。

教学反思：
教学思路：
这节课的主题是What subjects do you study at school ?在已学过关于星期的单词的基础上，学习六个关于学科名称的单词。同时在已掌握Do you ……?句型基础上，学习Do you have Art ? 句型。
首先，用What day is it today ? 句型，以较短的时间复习关于星期的单词。
其次，以实物的方式感知关于学科的单词，然后采用chant的方式，边说单词，边做动作，加强对这些学科名词的记忆。
第三，在强化练习之后，根据学生的生活实际，以听、说、练、玩的形式进一步巩固新单词和新句子。
最后，创设情境，让学生扮演不同班级或学校的学生，用所学的句子，互相了解对方的课程。
教学观点：
学生口头英语能力的训练应分步进行，让孩子在游戏、唱歌、表演、看图说话等多种形式训练中，逐步学会说话，不知不觉，积少成多，在教师的有效指导下，把话说地道。
从学生的生活经验和兴趣出发，创设与完成任务相关的情景进行语言训练，使学生在真实的情景和方式中学习英语知识，发展语言技能。
教学亮点：
Let's chant部分，通过韵文朗读和动作的形式，避免了学习英语单词的枯燥，吸引了学生注意力，更加深了学学生对单词的记忆。
教学设计有待探讨之处：
教学设计中竞争的气氛不够，学生能跟着教学思路表达自己的意见，学会所教的内容，但缺乏竞争带来的动力，使得课堂活力不够。
最后的任务型表演学生表现得不够，可能是时间没有安排得当。
