1. Enable talk about the shapes using “What shape is this ”
2. Master the words: circle/rectangle/square.
3. Count the shapes answer the question “how many circles/rectangles/squares are there ”
Teaching difficulties:
1. Count the shapes answer the question “how many circles/rectangles/squares are there ”
Step 1 Warming up.
1. Greet each other between the teacher and the Ss.
2. Sing a song .
3. How many triangles are there Let’s count.
Step 2 Presentation and drill.
1. What’s that It’s a circle/rectangle/square.
(Show on the words: circle/rectangle/square)
T: What shape is this Is it a triangle
Ss: No, it isn’t.
T: You are right. It’s not a triangle. It’s a square.
Now, how many squares are there Let’ count.
(Ok, there are eleven squares.)
2. Miss Liu draws a picture.
T: What shape is this Ss: It’s a circle.
T: Yes. How many circles are there
Ss: There are three circles.
T: What is that
Ss: That’s a teapot.
(Understand the “teapot”)
3. Listen to the tape of Part B and C, repeat.
4. Let’s act.
(Two a group, practice.)(Let four students come to the blackboard and act.)
Step 3 Practice.
Now, look at this picture. There are three yellow triangles.
This is a blue triangle. This a red circle, it’s the Sun.
There are two squares.
How many circles are there How many rectangles are there
(Complete the table)
Step 4 Consolidation
Draw and color a picture made of shapes. Show and tell to the class.
An example:
My picture is a house.
This is a red triangle.
This is a green circle.
This is a yellow square.
This door is a blue rectangle.
教学思路:
首先,用How many triangles are there Let’s count引出本节课的主要内容,先练习数三角形。
而后,用What shape is this Is it a triangle 复习上节课中学生学习的有关形状的单词。
接着操练How many squares/circles/rectangles are there
学案:
Step 1
1、 Sing a song .
2、 How many triangles are there Let’s count.
Step2 How many squares are there Please count.
Step 3 Practice
Look at the picture.
Complete the table .

Step 4 Let’s draw.
Draw and color a picture made of shapes.

教学后记:
由于上节课学生单词掌握得不牢固,所以,在操练句型的时候,学生还不熟练。其实,在学习的这些有关形状的单词时,我用手势帮助学生记忆。学生能很好地将意思与单词对上号了,只是读音操练得不够,所以学生练习时受限制。
