Suffixes ‘-ful’ and ‘-less’:
英语的后缀(suffixes)具有较强的语法作用，加在词语后面并不改变该词语的基本意义,而是引起词性的变化。
后缀‘-ful’表示‘full of’；‘-less’表示‘without’。这两个后缀都是加在名词后面构成形容词。
有些名词有后缀-ful构成的形容词, 但没有后缀-less构成的形容词；反之亦然。如：
wonderful, beautiful, endless, sleepless, …
