一、 warming up and leading in
(一)introduce myself to the students .Talk something about the zoo and the animals.
(二) show a video about animals as the leading-in part, then ask the students what they can see to attract their attention.
二、vocabulary
(一)I show the picture of Nanning Zoo and Beijing Zoo to teach new words. and I tell the students I am the guide of the students today.
(二)ask the students to listen to the voices of the animals and show some pictures of the animals to teach the new words of the animals .
(三)play a guessing game: guess what animals they are. The students just can see part of the animals.(play a high-and-low voice game)
(四)teach the other words: I show all the words of this unit on the screen, and then require the students to study the words by three steps. Step one, read the words follow me. step two, read in group. Step three, read with the whole class,
三、Look at the picture. What can you see?
(一)show the picture of part one, and ask the students What they can see in the picture.
四、Listen and check (√) the words you hear in Activity 1.
(一)Play the tape and ask the students which word they can hear。
五、listen and read
(一)listening:I will ask the student to look at the questions in part three and do the listening with the questions in their mind. When I play the tape, they can look at the passage sentence by sentence to find out the answers.
(二) After listening, I will choose some students to answer the questions in part three, then check with the whole class.
(三)Then ask all the students to read the passage all together. I give the students some papers with some questions and ask them to work in group to find out the answers. I will choose some students to show the answers and check with the whole class.
四) I do a conclution of the passage, ask the students how many animals they learnt just now, what are they? What dose it eat? Dose the bear eat meat? Does the tiger eat bamboo? Then lead to the grammar part.
(五) Speeking: practice the sentence structure: A: Does ... eat ...? B: Yes, it does.A: Does ... eat...? B: No, it doesn’t. It eats ... I show some questions on the screen, the students need to work in group to practice how to ask and how to answer with these sentence structures. During the speaking practice,I will choose some student and some group to show the speaking , and ask the whole class to read out example sentence loudly.
(pairwork): I show some pictures, two students come to the blackboard ,a student choose one picture and show the dialogue with partner with sentence structure A: Does ... eat ...? B: Yes, it does.
A: Does .. eat..? B: No, it doesn’t. It eats ...)
Practising:I show some fill-in-blank practices on the screen, and give the students some minutes to work in group to think about. Next I will choose some students to finish these questions. Then check the answer with the whole class.
六、phrase
(一)After the grammar studying, I will ask the students to work in group to find out the key phrases in this passage, next I call back the phrases from the whole class, then show the phrases on the screen and read with the whole class.
