一.学情分析
(一) 授课对象为在校初三年级学生21世纪教育网
(二) 兴趣与学习动机 大部分学生外向,热情,有表现欲,并对人称的转换话题有兴趣.
(三) 知识经验 学生在前面已经学习了宾语从句,在此基础上只需要掌握人称的变化即可
二.课标与教材分析
本单元的主题是转述别人的话,同时引导学生采用Practicing, Listening for specific information和Role playing的学习策略,学习一些新词汇,掌握一些重点句型,在小组合作学习的过程中,进一步促进学生之间的相互了解。

五.教学策略
本课以日常对话导入,利用丰富多彩的多媒体教学,激发学生的兴趣,将听力与口语训练融入其中,从而强化学生的听说能力。
听说材料采取先提出问题,让学生带着问题听,把握关键词汇,培养速记能力。把握整体教学,然后采取互相对话的形式练习、巩固。词汇和短语在语境中自然接触,很容易让学生领会。教学活动由易到难,设计任务型学习活动,在真实任务中引导学生主动思考,培养学生的创造性思维能力和交际能力。在日常教学中做到理论联系实际,学以致用,体会真实环境下的语言运用。

Step2 Presentation

1a.get the Ss to talk about soap operas in groups. Then answer the four questions in the box.
(This activity introduces some of key vocabulary and provides oral practice using the target language.)
Look at the pictures . Ask and answer in pairs, then check them.
1b. Listen and number the statements [1-4] in the picture. Then check the answers.
(This activity gives Ss practice in understanding the target language in spoken language.)

(This activity provides guided oral practice using the target language.)
2a First ask different students to read the sentences to the class,then listen and circle true or false for each statement.
2b Listen again. What did the people on TV say Circle the correct answers.

2c, Ss work in pairs, get some to act out.

Step3 Summarize
Grammar focus, get the Ss to find out the difference between the direct speech and reported speech, then tell what is special about reported speech. Read the verbs aloud.
Step 4 Exercise
3a Read the newspaper story and fill in the blanks, then check the answers.
3a 4 Let the students practice speaking and listening skills in role plays. In groups of four, complete the role plays, then ask several students to present their role plays to the class. Ask the students to vote on the best role play.
Step 5 Homework
Writing practice. Imagine and finish the newspaper article.

Questions about the past progressive.
Activity 2. Presentation
This activity introduces some new vocabulary and provide oral practice using the target language.
Task 1 . Ask four students to stand in front of the class, and the teacher asks them the following questions as a reporter.
1. What are you going to do when you grow up
2. What are you going to do next week
3. What are going to do after school
The students will give different answers, then ask a good student to report what they said.
I am going to e a doctor.
What did she say ----------She said she was going to be a doctor.
I am going to have a party on Friday night.
What did he say -------He said he was going to have a party on Friday night.
I am going to do my homework.
What did she say ------ She said she was going to do her homework.
I am going home after school.

Say In this unit we are going to learn to use words like to report what someone said.
Task 2. Read the instructions. Then ask a student to read the four questions. And write the words on the Bb. Explain what soap opera is.
Task 3. Ask the students to Look at the pictures, point out the TV screens in the picture. Ask one girl to read what Marcia said.
What did Marcia say She said She said she was having a surprise party for Lana on Friday night. Repeat the other pictures in the same way.
Activity3. Listen and number the pictures in activity 1a.
Task 1. Play the recording the first time. Students only listen.
Task 2. Play the recording a second time. Students number the pictures. Then check the answers.
Activity 4. Pairwork
Ask the students to ask and answer about what the people in the soap opera said.
Homework
1. Make up your own conversations.
2. Write down the sentences in 1a.

Task2.Point to the five sentences and ask different students to read them to the class. Then say: You will hear a conversation between two people who are talking about a soap opera on TV.Circle True or false after each statement.
Play the recording twice and students circle their answers. Then check the answers.
