背景分析
(一)教材分析
本课是我所执教的北师大版小学英语教材(三年级起始用)六年级的第一单元课题的第一课时,它以学生熟悉的主人公Ann向Ken和Mocky讲述自己梦境的故事回忆形式,向学生初步展示了一般过去式的用法。在Ann的梦中,她和Ken都成了宇航员,他们穿着宇航服,乘着飞船到了火星,与火星人成了朋友。通过这一富有想象力的梦,自然呈现了描述自己和他人在过去时间里所做的事情的主要句型,如:I had a dream last night. We were on Mars. We were astronauts.等。而且,梦本身的内容与学生感兴趣的宇宙知识内容相结合,利于激发学生对所学内容的兴趣,益于丰富学生的天文知识。
本课中的对话部分大多句型已是学生学过的旧句型,反而是Ann旁白讲述部分紧紧围绕本单元重点语法点进行,因此我在课文处理上将以旁述部分为主,对话部分为辅,通过两部分对照学习的方式,在理解故事大意的基础上,让学生初步感知动词be ( am, is , are), had的过去式用法,为后续课时学习打好大体框架和素材。
(二)学情分析
1、六年级学生已具备良好的词汇和句型的知识积淀,本课的词汇与句型对于他们来说应该不算太难,关键在于感知一般现在时与一般过去时用法上的切换;
2、六年级学生已具有一定的综合语言运用能力和较好的英语语感,学生大多思维活跃,乐于表现,英语学习兴趣较浓厚,并掌握了一定的学习方法;游戏活动等已不再成不调动他们学习积极性的主要因素,关键在于他们自己在学习活动中有思维的碰撞和成功体验;
3、由于一些客观因素的限制,平日观察发现学生的语言基础知识不够扎实,表现为自信心不足,不敢大胆参与教学活动。
二、教学目标分析
(一)知识技能目标
1、学生能感知、理解本课故事;
2、学生能初步感受、理解动词be ( am, is , are), had的一般过去时的用法;
3、学生能够尝试复述Ann讲的故事。
(二)过程与方法
1、通过教师的情境创设,学生在看、听、读、说、写、演等形式中,能够理解故事、感知语法;
2、通过在师生互动、同桌合作等任务型学习方式,学生能够尝试复述故事。
(三)情感态度价值观
1、在表达中引出宇航员杨利伟激发学生的爱国热情,从而树立远大的理想;
2、通过对故事中两位主角与火星人交往这一事例的启发引导学生形成与人友好相处的态度;
3、通过遨游太空的故事丰富学生天文知识,激发学生乐于观察,对宇宙空间充满好奇且乐于探究的热情。
三、确定教学任务
根据前面的分析,确定:
1、教学重点:理解故事大意,感知动词be ( am, is ,are ), have的过去式用法。
2、教学难点:复述故事。
3、实现重点、突破难点的关键:以学生的旧知结构、认知水平、年龄特点为出发点,采用活动的形式,小组合作对新知进行充分地感知、操练、发现、运用。
四、教学策略选择与设计
本课要注重围绕故事的情节,采用任务型学习方式,注重创设情境,努力实践情境、情感、情趣的有机交融。1、注重利用情境理解故事大意;2、利用学生熟悉的人物使学生初步感知动词be ( am, is ,are ), have的过去式用法;3、注重让学生在交流活动中体验语言,培养他们的综合语言运用能力。

设计意图:从学生熟悉和感兴趣的人物,如老师、明星张亮和宇航员杨利伟等入手,能极好激起学生好奇心,并使他们的注意力高度集中,这时从不同时间的人物对比和同一人物的不同时间对比中,形象地初步引出be动词的一般现在时与一般过去时的不同用法,为新课做铺垫的效果将事半功倍。
