The First Period
Step1: Greetings.
Step2: Getting ready.
1.T write the name on the Bb.
T: Hello. I am Miss Zhou.
Hello. What’s your name
T encourage Ss to understand introduce themselves. Model the sentences if necessary.
2. T must pay attention to the students pronunciation. T have to lead the students to model the pronunciation.. Especially the words‘name” ,“your”…
3. T When the students understand what they should do, do it again to give the Ss a chance to learn the classmates’ names.
4. T show the presentation. Show hands with the student: T:Nice to meet you.
5. T show : Goodbye.
Step3: Practice
The students can sit up and go around the classroom to meet their classmates and try to know their names and greet with their friends.
Step4: Play a game. Touch and guess.
Step5: Introduce Two friends: Tony and Gogo.
Step6: T: Look here. Here are two friends .
Tony: What’s your name
Gogo: I’m Gogo. What’s your name
Tony: I’m Tony. Nice to meet you , Gogo.
Gogo. Nice to meet you , Tony.
Tony. Goodbye. Gogo.
Gogo: Goodbye, Tony.
Practise reading and talking the dialogue above.
Step7: The students can pracise the dialogue in pairs.
They can act it out in front.
Step8: Teach Alphabet Aa Bb Cc
T must present the model writing on the Bb.
Students need to writing their the first writing on the exercises.
Step9: Homework.
1. Read dialogue at home
2. Write the letters.

The Second Period
Step1: Greetings.
Step2: Warming up
Practise the dialogue they have learned yesterday.
A: Hello. What’s your name
B: Hi. I’m Gogo. What’s your name
A: My name is Tony. Nice to meet you.
B: Nice to meet you .
A: Good bye. Gogo.
B: Goodbye, Tony.
Step3.Practice1:
1. Point to the four pictures.
2. T: Who’s this
3. Elicit responses from Ss.
4. Listen to the tape. Try to finish the box. The T needs to give the students some direction as they are very new to the lesson.
Step4. Practice2:
1. Getting ready.
2. Write What’s your name on the board.
3. Point to Ss randomly, ask their names and elicit responses.
4. Have the students draw themselves in the box.
5. T: Point to Gogo
T: Look.
T: Listen and answer.
T play the tape and have Ss respond.
Step5. Learn the Song.
Step6. Activity 1
Learn the kids’ name with the pictures.

1. Have Ss look at the written names and the pictures of the characters.
2. Point to the written words.

4. Continue with the next four names.
5. Give Ss time to match the letters with the pictures.

Recite the names of the kids.

Step1.Greetings.
Step2.Ask and answer with the students.
Try to practice the dialogue they have learnt these days.
Try to distinguish the Alphabet. A and a B and b C and c
Step3. Review all the kids’ names. The students need to say all the names of all the kids. They need to say hello to them. They need to ask and answer .
Step4.Activity2
1. Have Ss work in pairs.
2. Encourage Ss to say what they think the characters are saying in the large illustration.
3. Circulate around the classroom and point to various pictures.
4. Give the Ss a questioning look, point to Gogo and the speech bubble.
Step5. Alphabet
1. Review the Alphabet chant from “ Do you know…..”
2. Have the Ss look at the alphabet letters , read.
3. Encourage the students to read the six words with the help of the pictures.

4. Play a word games with the pictures.
Step6. Learn listen and chant with the tape.
Step7. Play a game.
Step8. Review the dialogue they have learnt.
