表可能性,有“或许、可能”之意。
might与may可以换用,但might表示较多的怀疑,更加不肯定,语气更委婉。

都属于这类词。情态动词无人称和数的变化,情态动词后面接的动词需要原形,否定式是在情态动词后面加not,当我们想表达可能发生某事以及可能做某事时,可以用may
