Step 1. In this unit, we learned how to describe people’s appearance and clothes. In this topic, we learned how to talk about the color of people’s hair ,eyes and clothes and also learned special question with “what color”, “what …look like” . Now ,let’s sum up the important points in this topic:1. the sentence patterns about colors: (1).----What color is … ----It’s … (2).----What color are… ----They’re …the sentence pattern about people’s appearance.-----What does he/she look like -----He/She is tall like you, but he/she doesn’t have long hair. It’s short and brown.3. the sentence patterns about the color of people’s hair ,eyes and clothes (1)----What color is his/her hair -----It’s black.

(4)----What color are these/those shoes ----They’re green.the usages of some other important words.in: “in +color”or “in + a/an/the +color+ n.” It means “穿着某种颜色的衣服”。look:“v.” :look at, look the same.“n.” :have the same look.have different looksboth: pron. It means“两者都”,一般放在行为动词前面,be动词、助动词、情态动词之后。give: give sth.to sb.pants/shoes: 一般以复数形式使用,作主语时,谓语动词用复数形式。color“n.” :颜色“v.” :给……着色,涂色。Step 2.
