Unit 1 Are you feeling sad
Teaching Aims:
1 知识目标:
1) 学习掌握本课单词:feel, nothing, secret, surprise, tell, bored, angry, sad, chess
2) 学习掌握本课的重点句型:
1) Are you feeling sad /bored/angry/happy
2) I feel sad/ bored/ angry / happy…
2 技能目标:
1) 会用本课的句子关心他人的感受,并表达自己的感情
Are you feeling … / I feel….
2) 理解本课的内容
3 情感目标: 培养学生的关心他人的品质,勇于表达自己的内心感受,培养学生的自信心和合作精神以及用英语交流沟通的能力。
4 学习策略: 培养学生自主学习,合作学习的能力,以及积极参加语言交流,用英语思维的能力。
Important points :
1 掌握本课词汇:feel, bored, chess, angry , nothing, secret, tell, surprise
2 本课重点句型: Are you feeling … I feel ….
运用任务: 运用本课知识向同学介绍对最近发生的难忘的事情你现在的感受。

Teaching procedure
Step1: Warm up:
1: Say a poem
Step 2 Presentation
1: Communication
T introduces himself and talk with students ( teach the word “miss”, “tell”, “secret”)
2: Present the task
T: I hope I can be your friend and share your feelings. Who is the first one you want to talk to when you feel angry , bored or happy
S: My friend, my mother…)
T: Well, do you want to comfort them when they don’t feel well
T: 今天我们就要学习如何用英语表达你的感受,如何与你的家人,伙伴分享他们的感受。
3: learn the new words
T: Last weekend , I went to Xiamen University to meet my friend .
( 以上周去厦大找同学为故事线索,引出单词 surprise, happy, bored, angry, sad 每个单词配上一张相应的面孔)
Step 3 Practice and development
1: Practice the words(board, angry, sad, happy) and do the action
2: Listen and draw faces
将面孔的顺序打乱,请学生上台根据老师的命令将面孔重新排列,对应相应的单词。其余同学在纸上画上相应的面孔。
3: Ask and answer
请学生上台,从刚才画的四个面孔中任意抽出一张藏于背后,由同学来猜他现在的心情。

S: Yes/ No.
Practice in pairs
Step 4 Learn the text
1: Listen and write
T: In this semester, Lingling went to London. How does she feel Does she miss China Listen and underline the words about feelings.
2: Listen and think
Listen again and think four questions
a Is Lingling feeling sad
b Is Lingling thinking about something
c Does Lingling miss China
d What is she going to give Amy on her birthday
3 Listen and repeat
4 Finish exercise 3
Step 5 :Fulfill the task
T: I think Lingling would feel happy when were in China recently . Do you know why

T: Look, can you guess how I feel
S: Are you feeling …
(请学生带着图片上台来,由学生来猜他现在的感受)
T: Now, tell your group members what you feel or just show them pictures and they guess.
Step 6 Homework
a Listen and repeat
b Ask your parents how they feel and try to help them as possible as you can .
