教学反思
 《全日制义务教育普通高级中学英语课程标准(实验稿)》强调课程从学生学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,提倡体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和“任务型”的教学途径。促进学生形成有效的学习方法和策略。同时,《标准》着重强调了学生的综合语言运用能力以及在学习过程中表现出的情感、态度和价值观。故本课时的设计从语言知识、语言技能、情感态度和学习策略等方面提高学生的综合素质。并基于学生和教材分析,制定出三维教学目标。在多媒体等教具的支持下,运用“任务型”的教学方法,让学生在完成任务的同时,提高英语综合运用能力。  
本节课的设计最大的特点是使用恰当的阅读技能入手,同时为激发学生的探究欲望和阅读兴趣设置了由浅入深,层层推进的任务型阅读的教学模式。另一个特点是教学环节的设计层次分明,衔接流畅自然。读前、读中、读后三个环节的设计由浅入深,由表及里,层层深入,步步为营,使阅读活动从整体到部分最后回到整体,理解的层次也由读懂到读深最终到读透。

内容简析
本单元主要讲述了一段沿湄公河而下的自行车旅行,主人公“王坤”以旅行日志的形式详细的记录了这一个过程。学生通过追随这段旅程,探讨与“旅行”相关的各种话题。通过这一单元的学习,既让学生学到与旅行有关的语言知识和语言技能,还会使学生学到对旅游产生的兴趣,通过旅游了解世界各地的文化,增强对祖国大好河山的热爱,进而培养学生的跨文化交际能力。
本节课是单元的语言知识学习课,教师可在充分利用教材资源的基础上,结合学生的实际情况设计教学活动,旨在帮助学生有效地学习语言知识和语法知识,并能熟练运用所学知识,形成有效地学习方法和解题技巧。为以后的综合能力的运用作好了铺垫。
目标聚焦
本单元是在学生初步适应高中学习生活后的学习。本节课的主要目的就是侧重训练学生对文章的重点词汇、重点句型的理解、辨析和运用,并通过对多个例句的分析生让学生掌握运用。但是语法的学习部分教师仍有必要对次语法项目进一步展现和分析,从而使学生对语法项目的认识从感性上升到理性,并能够在以后的口语和书面表达中灵活使用。

教学反思
本节课内容比较单一,除了对语言点的记忆就是对语法的学习,对语法的学习学生都有畏难情绪,并且没有多大的兴趣,本节课设置了多种形式学习,让学生在观察,讨论,思考,归纳的基础上掌握本节课的内容,这样就比生硬的说教效果要好。
我们本着以学生为中心,大面积提高成绩,培养能力的基础上适应当前素质教育的深入推进的要求,为鼓励学生主动学习,积极学习,我们采取了课前课中课后的这样一种教学模式,课前自主探究,合作学习;课上交流展示、研讨提升;课后巩固提高、预习准备。通过这样一个教学流程,让学生通过自己的探索、研究,归纳、总结,解决问题、获取知识。从而真正达到学生自主学习、合作学习、探究学习、积极学习的目的。

教学思路:
学生课前自主预习,可以从课本以网上了解关于Laos及Mekong River 的一些情况,利用课前演讲的形式展示出来,导入Listening.
听这一步分为三段,即听前,听中和听后,练习1是听前活动,让学生根据练习内容猜测听力的内容。练习2,3,4是听中活动,让学生捕捉关键词,判断文章大意以及听到具体信息,将段落补充完整。
Step3实际是听后的训练活动,学生根据听到的内容,运用祝愿和告别的表达用语,设计Wang Kun 和 the girl 的对话。
最后一步写作,首先让学生思考如何询问他们从未到访过的国家的信息。
