本课的教学重点是让学生掌握句型：Can you run fast? Yes, I can. / No, I can’t. You can jump high. You can play basketball well. 其中重点掌握well的用法。而我根据学生以前所学的内容再补充了fast, far, high等词汇的用法。整个句型并不难，难的是要让学生能将各项活动的词汇都灵活运用到这个句型当中来。
在教学热身的环节中，我设计了魔力眼这样一个活动环节。将学生以前所学的各项活动的词汇逐一快速地呈现在灯片屏幕上，让学生看到后快速地读出来并配上相应的动作。这些词汇包括有：play basketball,play football, play pingpong, swim, run, jump, sing, dance, draw, write, play the piano, play the drums, play the flute …第一达到复习巩固的目的，第二为今天的句型所需的词汇做好铺垫。通过这样的环节，学生较好地进行了学习新知的热身活动。
