在本课的第一课时中已经初步将学生在学习生活中碰到的一些常见的问题呈现给了学生,本节课主要是详细地将具体问题进行讨论，除了学习重要的单词和短语，而且在情感上通过任务型教学方式对学生的思想进行疏导，让他们科学地、辩证地看待眼前自己遇到的不可避免的问题，让他们学会合理地处理遇到的一系列问题.

1．整体教学思路
本节课主要就是通过阅读，培养学生的阅读分析能力和阅读技能的提高，在教学中应该指导学生如何根据关键词和句子掌握课文要领，如何通过回答问题来领会课文的主要意思，以及在教学中通过丰富多彩的活动提高学生的学习兴趣，最后通过设置的学习任务来检查学生的当堂掌握情况。及时根据学生的反馈来调整今后的教学思路。
2. 教学过程
Step 1: Revision (“15分钟温故.自学,群学”环节)（检查预习作业，小组交流）

Step 2 ：Leading-in (“20分钟展示交流质疑,训练，点拨提高环节”)

【活动设计与内容& 教学方式的说明】由于本课主要是阅读课教学，因此在教学过程中主要采取任务型教学，首先让学生对整个阅读材料进行阅读，其次为了训练学生的听力，播放录音，看ppt.，调动学生多种感官参与理解过程，使学生关注所学文章的细节，带着问题进行阅读使学生更有针对性，学习目标明确，这样不仅训练了学生的读和听的能力，同时解决了课文中的一些难以理解的知识点。
Step 4: Activities

2.Ask the students to design a card and write down the information about their friends .
3. T: From the letter , we know that Millie has some problems , and she feels very worried and stressed. Therefore, she has asked for other people’s help. Sometimes, people around you can help you solve the problems.

4. After the discussion, the teacher should make the students know it’s normal to meet with all kinds of problems during their study and life , it’s necessary to get rid of their unnecessary worries .

本课是一堂阅读课，主要谈论学生在学习生活中碰到的一些苦恼。很接近生活实际，呈现所学内容，充分利用多媒体的优势来呈现所学内容，还有学生之间开展的活动和讨论，让学生在活动中体会，易于理解和实践，提高了学生学习的积极性。但在教学中还有很多要改进的地方，如教学不能面向全体学生，由于学生的自身因素的不同而造成彼此参差不齐，教师在课堂教学时要充分考虑到学生的个性差异。尤其那些学习困难生，一般多问他们一些简单的问题，让他们产生成就感，对他们在课堂上的良好表现与进步要多给予鼓励和表扬。对优秀生应让他们对一些创造性的问题发表自己的见解。教学中还需注意教学策略的多样性，因此英语教学应从知识型教学转向能力型教学。课堂教学方法应多种多样，可采用开放式学习，情景教学以及多媒体教学。改过去单一的讲解式为现在的运用中学习，学习中运用。学生在不同的教学环境下感受到英语知识的新奇性，产生了学好英语的强烈愿望。

I never wanted a dog, but now I’m so glad I have one. About two years ago, my wife, Cathy, got a little dog with a face only a mother could love. We named her Gertie.
Gertie is the kind of dog that has to grow on you. So I decided that the dog would be trained. This didn’t quite go as planned. All the students in our school take an active part in the our our-of-class activites.
After class or after school, many of us like to play the ball games, while some other students enjoy watching ball games. At weekends we take part in different interesting groups, for example, singing ,dancing, painging …We also like to go to the English Corner. There we can speak to our English teachers and practise or oral English.
I really hope we’ll have less homework to do and more time to take part in our out-of- class activities.
