We all love your teaching. The first time you came into the classroom, we were amazed by your rich knowledge. But what impresses us more are the unique ways you use to make the class lively. Besides, you are also so patient with us, which helps build up our confidence in English learning. All these are the reasons why you enjoy tremendous popularity among us.
By the way, we also have some suggestions to make. Some of us are still poor at English and need your help. We hope you can help them. They fall behind owing to lack of interest. Some get confused when it comes to how to learn English. So could you possibly have a talk with them to arouse their motivation and offer some advice on how to gain a good command of the language? We would appreciate it if you could consider our suggestions.

备考建议---作文:考生答题过程中要注意:
(1)注意审题,确定要点。
(2)仔细阅读写作要求及注意事项,确定要点、确定格式、题材及基本要点。
(3)扩展要点。先给要点加上主语和修饰语,然后丰富要点, 把要点扩展成句子,将句子补充完整,向高级升华。
(4)连句成篇。连句成篇时,要注意正确使用连接词。
(5)全面检查,书法规范。注意检查拼写、标点符号错误;人称、时态、语态错误;句子结构和逻辑错误;考虑语篇结构;考虑句式的变化和词汇的丰富。书法规范就是英语单的书写要规范,做到“横三齐,竖平行”。
备考建议---作文:WRITING (1)05年写作题改变了过去试卷看图写作或仅按拟定提纲写作的形式,要求考生按照拟定提纲向外国友人介绍中国学生过生日的通常方式;除此之外,还要求考生发表对过生日其他有意义方式的建议与看法。这样做使考题具有一定的开放性,优秀考生有了发挥的余地;同时,也使考生产出语篇的语言功能和句式更具多样性,从而增强了试题的区分度。

Chinese students celebrate their birthdays in different ways, but the most common way is to have fun drinking, singing and dancing. On the birthday, one usually receives nice gifts and good wishes from friends and parents. Sometimes, parents will prepare a special dinner or a cake to show their love for their children.
Since birthday celebration is one of the important activities in one’s life, it can be done in more meaningful ways. For example, we can buy some flowers or cook a delicious meal for our mothers on that day. In this way, we express thanks to our parents in return for their love.

Some of us think that it is better to see the film than to read the book in the original.’06年高考英语第II卷成绩分析第三节:书面表达 Some of us think that it is better to see the film than to read the book in the original. The reason is that it takes less time to understand the whole story. Besides, the film is usually more interesting, and it is easier to follow.
Some others have just the opposite opinion. They think that they can get more detailed information from the original. Meanwhile, the language in the book is possibly more lively and beautiful.
Personally, I agree with the second view. Actually I have more reasons for it. I think I can stay at home, reading quietly in a situation of my own, and what’s more, I am able to better understand the author’s ideas. In a word, to read the original work is better than to see the film based on it.

2. 参考词汇:atmosphere 氛围 I prefer my English classes to be taught in English only. As we all know, a good learning environment is vital if we want to study English well. Classes taught in English provide students with such an environment. When English is the only language used in the classroom, students will have more opportunities to practise listening and speaking. Therefore, they will be able to learn more quickly.
However, there are also some problems with this teaching method. As we haven’t mastered enough English words, sometimes we may find it difficult to follow the teacher. Slow learner may even lose interest in English.
Practice makes perfect. To learn English well requires a lot of practice. Therefore, I like my English classes to be taught completely in English. I prefer my English classes to be taught in both English and Chinese. In my opinion, learning English is a step-by-step process. As middle school students, we only have a small vocabulary. If the teacher can use some Chinese in an English class, we will understand the lesson better.
Of course, an English class taught in two languages has its shortcomings. Such a class cannot create a good atmosphere for English learning. Some students will speak Chinese all the time and cannot learn English well.
If you want to learn a lesson well, you have to understand it first. To help students understand the lesson better, the teacher should use Chinese from time to time. Therefore, I like my teacher to use both English and Chinese in teaching.
