Chinese people invented paper.
（本单元分两课时，此为第一课时）
Step1.Warm up
Greetings.
Sing a song.（第七册第一课的歌曲Children from China are Chinese.并要求学生大声读出最后一个单词Chinese, English, American, Russian,为下面的导入做准备。）
Step2. Presentation
T: What nationality are you ? Chinese or American? (由歌曲引出问题)
Ss:……
T: As a Chinese, are you proud?(不要求学生做出回答)
T: I’m proud as a Chinese . I think Chinese people are very clever and Chinese people invented important things.
T：“invent” , what’s the meaning?
(引出并教授单词invent.)
Step3. Teaching
Teach “invent”.(示范字母v的发音，书空单词，进而教授invented)
Teach “invented”.(此单词发音为难点，重点操练，手指法)
Teach the text.
(1) Listen , point and find “invent”.
(2) Listen again, answer my question: what did Chinese people invent? Fill the blanks.

(3) Teach the words.
