e.g. Nothing can satisfy him except the best.

e.g. Smoking does harm to our health.

e.g. If we solve the problem in this way, it may do more harm than good.
如果我们以这种方式处理问题,那可能是弊大于利。区别:hurt, injure, harm, wound
hurt 指肉体上, 精神或感情上的伤害
The girl hurt herself badly in the accident.
injure指意外事故中受伤,损害健康, 成就, 容貌
He injured his hand while playing basketball.
harm 指对人或物造成的危害, 不一定是直接的,也不一定有痛楚;有时可指引起不安或不便
Smoking does great harm to our health.
wound指外伤或战争,打斗中所受的刀、枪伤

词词语辨析:offer, provide, supply
offer 主动提供。offer sth to sb; offer sb sth
provide 供给(所需物,尤指生活必需品)。
provide sth (for sb) = provide sb with sth.
supply: 供应(所需要或所要求之物)。
supply sth to sb = supply sb with sth

2) dress的过去分词常用来构成get dressed与 be dressed短语, 前者表示动态, 后者表示静态, 穿何种衣服, 则用介词in. 如:
e.g. 1. Hurry up and get dressed.
快点穿上衣服。
2. The girl was dressed in red.
这个女孩穿着一身红衣服。
3) dress up是“穿上最好的衣服”, 常指
“打扮,化装”,如:
e.g. 1. You should dress up when you take part in the party.
