Lesson 2 ??It’s time to get up.
Good morning , ladies and gentleman. I’m Wang Suhong, I come from Hekou Primary School in Xiangtan County. I’m very glad to stand here and give you some introductions about my teaching plan.
Today I’ll talk about Lesson 2?Primary English Boook 4 from Shaaxi Tourism Press:?It’s time to get up. I’ll finish this Lesson in three periods,today I’ll talk about the first period of Lesson 2.
ⅠAnalysis of the Teaching Material
This Lesson is very important of this book..It is the continuation of Lesson 1 What time is it? In Lesson 1, the Ss have learnt how to express the time.this lesson, we are going to learn it and talk about that It’s time to do something at the proper time.It provides the new words and phrases:get up,go to bed ,have breakfast,have lunch.When learn the new words and new phrases, the Ss will come into contact with the new pattern: It’s time to ….

As we know there isn't a long histroy that the Ss have learnt??English in the primary school,so the main instructional aims of teaching English is to cultivate the Ss’ abilities of listening, speaking and the synthetic abilities of communication,co-operation and investigation.And to cultivate their good sense of??English. What’s the time for? It’s time for breakfast.
This step is to form a better situation for the students by singing and speaking.They will come into the??real surrounding of English learning,And it can also review the learnt knowledge for the next step.(这一环节通过唱歌和自由对话为学生营造了较好的语言环境,他们会很快地进入英语学习的情境中来,在此同时也复习了旧知,为下一步的学习做好了充分的准备。) ??Step 2??Presentation ? ?? ?I’ll mainly talk about this period. Learn the new words and new pattern.
a.CAI shows a picture of a boy getting up and a clock showing 7:00 .to teach get up.It’s seven o’clock,It's time to get up.
b. CAI shows a picture of a boy going to bed and a clock showing 9:00 .to teach go to bed.It’s nine o’clock,It's time to go to bed.
c. CAI shows a picture of a family having breakfast and a clock showing 7:30 .to teach have breakfast.It’s seven thirty,It's time to have breakfast.
d.CAI shows a picture of a family having lunch and a clock showing 12:00 .to teach have lunch.It’s twelve o’clock,It's time to have lunch.
e. CAI shows a picture of a boy playing ping-pong and a clock showing 4:15 .to teach play ping-pong.It’s four fifteen,It's time to play ping-pong.
This step is not to present the new words one by one,just with the help of the CAI and the pictures,it can provide a real situatian to understand the meaning of the words and to arouse the Ss’interest in English learning. (这一环节,并不是简单地逐个呈现要学的新单词,而是借助于多媒体和图片,为学生的学习提供了一个较真实的情境,让他们在情境中学会新知,对所学新单词的意思有比较好的理解,同时也大大激发了学生学习英语的兴趣。) Step 3: Listen?and?read
Play the tape “Listen and read”,the first time,have Ss just listen, the second time, have them listen and repeat.and then ask Ss to act out the conversation in roles.
This step is to improve the Ss abilities of listening ,speaking and communication .(这一环节主要是为提高学生的听力和口语交际能力。)
Step 4:Consolidation(巩固活动)
Activity 1:A guessing game:look and guess.CAI show some pictures and times,have Ss guess and complete the sentences It’s time to (do sth)。
Activity 2:Work in pairs.Have Ss work in pairs with their partner.One student make gestures,such as have breakfast,go to bed,get up,watch TV,go to school,etc.other students ask“What’s the time?”Have the partner guess and say It’s time to…by using the pattern.
This part is very important of the lesson.The Ss’ abilities of speaking and communication will be well trained.Use the CAI to set a real surrounding and encourage the Ss to communicate with the others.They can say loudly and freely .They will feel happy and successful during this part.By way of communication ,the Ss will understand the meaning of the structure better and master the knowledge firmly.(这部分在这一课中非常重要,因为在这一环节中学生说和与别人交流的能力将会得到很好的锻炼。用多媒体创设真实情境,鼓励学生与他人进行交流。他们可以大声自由的说英语。在这过程真他们会体验到快乐和成功。通过与别人的交流,真实的语言运用,学生对重点句型的意义用法也有了很好的理解,这将促使他们牢固地掌握所学的知识。) Step 5 Summing-up. (2)The difference between It’s time for …and It’s time to…: It’s?time?for后跟名词,It’s?time?to后接动词短语。两个句型都表示是该干什么的时间了。即:It’s?time?for (sth.),It’s?time?to(to do sth.)
Step 6 : Groupwork/Homework(小组活动/课外作业)
Design your time table (CAI)
【根据今天的教学内容,以小组为单位制作自己一天的作息时间表,下节课汇报It’s (6:30),It’s time for (sth) /It’s time to (do sth). 】
If time is enough,Ask them to make a conversation with their partners.They can speak to several classmates who they want to co-operate with,so they can walk freely in the class. This part is the consolidation of the key structure,and also is an extensive activity for the Ss.During this part ,the Ss can think and say by themselves,they will be glad to use the knowledge they have learnt,and their creative power will be well trained. (这一环节是对重点句型的复习巩固,也是给学生设置的一项拓展延伸的学习活动。这部分,学生可以自己大胆的思考,大胆的说,非常乐意地去用所学的知识与他人对话,他们的创造能力也得到了很好的培养。)   In a word, the whole period is based on tasks, which are designed from easy steps to steps that are challenging. When the Ss are carting out the tasks, they can acquire information, knowledge, and have their ability and skills trained.

Lesson 2 It’s time to get up. 说课稿
Good morning , ladies and gentleman. I’m Wang Suhong, I come from Hekou Primary School in Xiangtan County. I’m very glad to stand here and give you some introductions about my teaching plan.
下面我主要从说教材、说教法与学法和说教学过程等方面来谈谈自己对这节课的认识和设计思路。首先,说教材。我主要从教学内容,教学目标,教学重点与难点三个方面来谈谈。
一、 说教材
(一)先说教学内容。今天我说课的内容是陕西旅游出版社的PRIMARY SCHOOL ENLISH STUDENTS’ BOOK 4 Lesson 2 It’s time to get up (Period 1)主要学习:get up, go to bed,have breakfast,have lunch.等四个动词词组,还有句型:It’s time to …. (CAI) 本单元围绕“时间”这一题材开展教学活动。学生在前面课时学过句型What time is it? It’s eight o’clock. It’s time forschool. 他们基本已经掌握了整点的表达方法。学生在本课时中将理解并掌握四个动词短语的搭配使用,进一步学习几点几分的表达方法和比较使用It’s time for….和It’s time to…. 。我相信通过这一节课的学习,有助于学生巩固和丰富表达时间的方式,并学会如何表达“到时间做某事”。
(二)再说教学目标。《英语课程标准》明确提出了小学英语在语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识五个方面所要达到的教学目标。在本课时的教学中,我将重点关注三大目标: 1) 认知目标要求学生能听说读写get up, go to bed,have breakfast,have lunch. , 四个动词词组;能认读、区分并灵活运用It’s time to…. 和 It’s time for….两个句型。 2) 能力目标要求学生看懂时间;能流利地问答非整点时间;能用It’s time to ….来描述自己一天的活动。 3) 情感目标主要是加强学生珍惜时间的意识,帮助学生养成良好的作息习惯。
(三)说教学重、难点。本课时教学重点在于帮助学生理解和掌握四个动词词组,引导学生用句型What time is it? It’s 7:05. It’s time to ….进行交际活动。由于学生在前面课时刚学过It’s time for….在新课学习时学生容易把It’s time for…和It’s time to…. 这个新句型混淆,因此我把这两个句型列为本课时的难点,在教学过程中我将注意引导学生比较和操练这2个句型。
二、说教法、学法
大家都知道,小学生具有好奇、好胜、好动、模仿力强,表现欲旺盛等生理和心理特点,这种年龄阶段的孩子能集中注意力的最大限度只有十分钟。因此,为了突破教学重、难点,我依据《新课标》的精神,采取了以任务型教学模式为主,让学生在感知、实践、参与等方式下发展他的综合语言运用能力。我结合小学生的年龄特点和认知规律,在本课时采用游戏、比赛等学生喜闻乐见的活动形式,将整个课堂设计为不同的竞技场,让学生在玩中学,学中玩,激发学生学习英语的热情。此外,我还从多方位运用多媒体课件,使学生的视觉感受和听觉感受有机地结合起来,营造出视听立体的语言环境,为学生操练口语提供了有利条件,英语学习效果也明显提高,它使学生在学习外语言的同时,得到了美的熏陶。也就是说,我采取了愉快教学法,任务型教学法,情景教学法,活动教学法,小组合作法,师生互动教学法。
三、媒体
本课主要以幻灯片为主,在视、听、说等方面为学生创造了良好的学习氛围。此外,还准备了单词卡片、课文朗读带、大钟表、学生活动作息时间表
四、 说教学过程
Step 1:Warm-up /Revision(热身/复习)
Warm-up :“Well begun, half done.”精彩的课堂开头,不仅能使学生迅速地兴奋起来,而且能让他们自然地进入学习状态。在课前热身时,我安排了两个内容:1) enjoy and sing a song: a song of friend 这首歌虽然与教学内容没有关系,但我在上第一节英语课时便教会学生这首歌教育同学之间要和睦相处,要珍惜友谊,因此每节英语课前必唱这首歌。2)Proverb:Time is gold,money can’t buy time.上一节课的内容是What time is it ? 在教学时,我便把含有time的proverb: Time is gold,money can’t buy time.教给了学生,教育学生要珍惜时间,合理利用时间。这节课前再次呈现,达到一个巩固教学目的。
Revision:
1)Revise numbers from 1 to 99.以开火车的形式一个接一个的数,为学习准确表达非整点的时间作准备。
2)Revise sentense structures:(课件呈现)
What time is it? It’s seven fifty.
What’s the time for? It’s time for breakfast.巩固上一节课所学的单词和句型。
Step2: New?Presentation(新课展示)
老师通过课件和单词卡片讲解课文重点句型和词汇。
老师拨动钟表让学生复习上一课所学的问时间和说时间。课件呈现对应的图片,并将重点的句子(红色标注It’s?time?for?…写在中间,将It’s?time?to…写在右边如:
A、老师拨钟表到7:45:What?time?is?it???学生:It’s?seven?forty-five.
老师用课件呈现上学的图片问:What’s?the?time?for??学生?It’s?time?for?school.
课件呈现上学的图片并引导学生说:?It’s?time?to?go?to?school.
B、老师再拨钟表到七点:What?time?is?it???学生B?:It’s?seven?o’clock.
老师呈现起床的图片问What’s?the?time?for???引导学生说:?It’s?time?to?get?up.
教师带读新单词get?up以及句型It’s?time?to?get?up.
C、老师再拨钟表到9:00问What?time?is?it???学生:It’s?nine?o’clock.
老师呈现上床睡觉的图片问What’s?the?time?for??边引导学生说:?It’s?time?to?go?to?bed.
教师带读新单词go to bed以及句型It’s?time?to?go to bed.
D、老师再拨钟表到7:30问:What?time?is?it???学生:It’s?seven?thirty.
老师呈现吃早饭的图片问What’s?the?time?for??引导学生说It’s?time?for?breakfast.?强调说It’s?time?to?have?breakfast.
教师带读新单词have?breakfast以及句型It’s?time?to?have?breakfast。
E、老师再拨钟表到12点:What?time?is?it???学生:It’s?twelve?o’clock.
老师呈现吃午饭的图片问What’s?the?time?for???引导学生说:?It’s?time?for?lunch.强调说:It’s?time?to?have?lunch.
教师带读新单词have?lunch.以及句型It’s?time?to?have?lunch.
F、老师再拨钟表到4:15:What?time?is?it???学生:It’s?four?fifteen.
老师呈现打乒乓球的图片问What’s?the?time?for???引导学生说:?It’s?time?to?play?ping-pong.
学生自由读新词汇和句型若干遍,然后请个别学生带读。通过这一教学过程,既给学生呈现了新单词get up,go to bed,have breakfast,have lunch.又给学生呈现了新句型:It’s time to… This step is not to present the new words one by one,just with the help of the CAI and the pictures,it can provide a real situatian to understand the meaning of the words and to arouse the Ss’interest in English learning.A competition can encourage them to try by themselves and improve their ability of learning. (这一环节,并不是简单地逐个呈现要学的新单词,而是借助于多媒体和图片,为学生的学习提供了一个较真实的情境,让他们在情境中学会新知,对所学新单词的意思有比较好的理解,同时也大大激发了学生学习英语的兴趣。设置的竞赛的环节能够鼓励学生大胆尝试,提高他们英语学习的能力。) Step 3: Listen?and?read
播放Listen?and?read部分录音.
学生听,并跟读这些句子。
分角色朗读,男女、小组竞赛朗读对读得好的个人或小组奖励小红旗。
Step 4:Consolidation(巩固活动)
Activity 1、 Look and guess.学生根据课件上的时间和图片,猜出相应动词,并将句子It’s time to (do sth)补充完整。
Activity 2、Work in pairs.(我来比划你来猜,看哪组是最佳搭档)。
老师让学生两两自由组合,让一个学生来做吃饭,上床睡觉,起床,打乒乓球,回家,看电视,玩游戏,上学,上音乐课等动作,全班同学问What’s?the?time???叫另一个同学猜并用It’s?time?to…?句型来回答,在有限的时间里猜出最多的获最佳搭档奖。

教学快结束时,我引导学生回忆本课时知识点,巩固新知识;教育学生珍惜时间,合理安排时间,养成良好的作息习惯, 本课时为第二课的第一课时,下一课时为练习课,为联系生活及达到承上启下的目的,我布置的作业自制作息时间表,让学生反馈这堂课的学习情况:Design your time table (课件呈现)

?五、说板书设计
我也力求板书直观明了,富有趣味性。在进入四个动词短语教学时,我把图片与时钟融为一体,让学生能够一目了然的明白时间和活动的关系。
???? 另外,结合四年级教学大纲的要求,我板书句子时画上了四线格,力求引导学生规范地书写句子。在黑板的右边以走时针的方式进行小组竞赛,形式新颖有趣,能吸引学生参与。这个竞赛形式也让学生懂得珍惜时间才能提高学习效率。
