教材分析:本课是第二单元 “Shopping in the City”系列学习主题之一“ 让我们一起去购物”,教材提供了相关的情景模式以便学生进行对话依照,教学内容以学生为中心,以主要人物的活动为主线,围绕最常用最基本的英语词汇句型和交际用语逐步展开教学内容。丰富多彩的练习形式使学习活动化,活动交际化,即贴近了生活,所以能充分调动学生的求知欲和学习热情,同时又展现了中西方国家的不同文化背景.
学情分析:四年级学生对英语学习有浓厚兴趣,且英语口语表达能力较强,课堂中能灵活运用语言材料,在虚拟的情景中进行真实的交流,语言流畅,有一定的创造力和感染力。本课设计针对四年级学生的特点,把多种句型的练习融入到购物的环境中去,鼓励学生通过体验、实践、讨论、合作、探究等方式,发展听、说、读、写的综合语言技能。
本课是冀教版小学四年级英语上册第二单元的第七篇课文。本课包括三部分内容:第一部分:Where are you going?重在巩固句型Where are you going?To the____.和I want to_________.认知新概念“Why?”第二部分What are they doing?学习三个短语:drive a car ride a bicycle stay home为第三部分story做铺垫。
教材重在巩固旧知,认知新概念,训练学生的听力,培养学生各方面的能力。根据此课特点,和学生情况,对本课的教学目标定位如下:
1、知识与技能:学生能听懂并掌握Where are you going?问话及其答语To the____. Why? I want to_________.等相关句型,掌握短语drive a car ride a bicycle stay home。
2、过程与方法:在教学过程中引导学生体验、实践、合作和总结知识要点,充分培养他们的合作学习精神和自主学习的能力,促进学生的口语实践能力和创新思维的发展。
3、情感态度和价值观:通过多样游戏与活动,使学生在一个个具体的可以实现的任务驱动下体验成功的快乐,激发学生学习英语的热情,培养学生运用英语进行交际的能力,鼓励学生之间的合作并能相互帮助。教学重点是对话练习Where are you going?To the____. Why? I want to_________.教学难点是story的学习
教学流程:
1、创设情境 引出对话 教师准备一提蓝,上课伊始,教师就假装拎蓝向外走,学生必定会诧异询问,鼓励生用英语开口询问Where are you going?师可借机回答:To the market.生可能还想问为什么去啊或者是去干什么啊,教师出示卡片“why”领读由此引出新概念并教授。鼓励一生大胆用英语询问“why?” 教师回答:I want to buy some fruit.多重复几遍此句帮助生理解。
2、板书再现 巩固问答 教师趁热打铁把对话写在黑板上,让生多读几遍,鼓励学生谈理解。因为Where are you going?To the____.前面已经学过,所以教师可以把教授重点放在Why? I want to_________.上。
3、自由结组 自编对话 角色扮演 鼓励学生以此对话为据,自由结组编对话,可充分利用道具,让生发挥想象力和创造力,充分运用已学过的知识,准备停当后,让生上台表演。既给学生表现、展示的机会,也活跃了课堂气氛,更让生体会到了成功的喜悦,增强了学好英语的信心。教师尽量多安排几组学生上台表演,每一组学生表演完毕后,教师与其他学生进行如下对话:Where is shehe going?Why?以考察学生的理解程度,培养学生注意倾听的能力。
4、依托课本 巩固知识 让生听录音,跟读课文,请生谈理解,确认学生都理解后,角色扮演,再次让生熟悉句型,强化记忆。
5就图探讨 引出短语 教师可就第二部分的图与生进行讨论,如第一幅图,教师可让生看图,然后询问:What is it?Who are they? What are they doing?问题步步深入,引出短语driver a car 并让生边表演边说,以加深印象。以同样方式学习ride a bicycle stay home .6、由图引申 学习故事 教师可让生观察第三幅图,让生回答:What does Jenny want to do?生齐读,谈理解,让后让生听故事,让生多听一遍,然后师生可就故事探讨,师可用如下问题检查学生的理解情况: Does Jenny go to the city walk? Why? Does Jenny go to the city drive a car? Why? Does Jenny go to the city take a cab? Why? Does Jenny go to the city by bus? Why? How does Jenny go to the city?Why?Who goes to the city with Jenny?

Step1.Show the pictures of the silk shop .
