Hollywood这篇课文是一篇采访报导。这篇文章用词丰富，涉及到了多个英语习语（idiom）。在设计本堂课的教学时，我的教学重点在于培养学生在不同语境中猜测英语习语的能力，并学会将这些新词汇运用到各种语境以及自己创设的语境中。
我的教学理念是：分层学习、自主发展。分层，既在于教学目标的分层，如补充习语的运用；又在于教学活动的分层，如学生可选择补充或创造对话；还在于作业的分层，选一至两条习语编写句子和选做作业的布置。自主，既体现在通过小组讨论、“拼图”活动等合作学习中，也体现在培养学生在课堂中通过查阅字典，课堂后通过其他途径获取习语及其他语言素材的能力。
