一、地位和作用
本单元是鲁教版八年级英语下册Unit5
I
think
that
mooncakes
are
delicious。主要介绍国内外不同的节日,文化气息浓郁,教学内容丰富。除语言内容外,还涉及到中西方节日文化和风俗习惯。其中Section
A重点介绍中国传统节日,而Section
B部分主要介绍了西方的两个节日—万圣节和圣诞节。
本节课是Section
B第2课时,主要围绕西方节日圣诞节来展开,介绍了圣诞节的节日文化,侧重节日的文化内涵,目的是让学生更深层次的理解西方文化。从语言上看,这一节课将进一步强化对宾语从句的学习。在技能方面,通过突出阅读,创写鱼片的过程培养学生的综合语言技能,从策略上,侧重训练学生对阅读的深层理解,除了理解语言的表层含义外,还要培养学生的推断能力,读懂作者在字里行间所表达的深层含义。从文化意识和情感价值观的角度来看,该部分的阅读语篇通过探讨审单界的含义,讲述吝啬鬼Scrooge的改变,目的在于向学生传达以下信息:关爱、同情及怜悯之心是人类社会的宝贵财富,人人应当将之继承并发扬,将爱和快乐传播给周围每一个人,用爱心回报社会。
二、重点和难点
1)课文虽为圣诞节,却并非对这一节日的表层介绍,而是设计圣诞含义的深层次内容。推导“字里行间”的含义,是本节课训练重点。
2)2e部分要求小组成员根据课文内容发挥合理想象,合作编对话,并进行角色扮演。由于开放性较强,需要学生有较强的自主活动能力和语言水平,为本节课语言训练的难点。
三、突破重难点方法
1)通过设置不同训练活动来引导学生找出原文,并对原文进行推敲理解,掌握该阅读策略。
2)对于角色扮演进行恰当的指导,要求每个小组合理分配角色,编排对白,适当添加表情,肢体动作等来帮助表达个人情感,充分发挥学生的创造性和自主意识。评测练习

教学过程设计
课前准备:学生在课前上网搜集整理有关圣诞节的相关资料,课前交流。步骤1:导入新课。
以“节日知多少”来复习Section
A学习的我国传统节日。当老师问到幻灯片中呈现的节日时,要求知道节日的同学举手并回答“I
know”,以此活跃课堂气氛,最后导入到本节课主题:圣诞节。设计意图:以学生熟悉的节日导入课题,在复习所学知识的同时,让学生在轻松的氛围中进入本节课的学习。步骤2:读前铺垫。呈现圣诞树上挂有4个礼物盒的图片,依次打开礼物盒让学生了解圣诞节相关知识。设计意图:用圣诞树及礼物来引起学生对这节课的好奇心,调动学生的积极性.把学生引入英语课堂,吸引学生注意。步骤3:预测文意。根据标题及插图预测本文要讲述的内容。设计意图:让学生养成阅读前观察标题及文章插图的阅读习惯,培养学生的观察,思考能力,为下一步理解文章内容减少障碍。步骤4:
快速阅读。采取任务型教学法,出示学生要完成的任务。浏览全文,找出文章要介绍的小说,小说作者及主角,并简要介绍小说作者。设计意图:培养学生跳读及训读能力,拓宽学生知识面,帮助学生扫清阅读障碍。步骤5:精读训练。采用任务型教学法。读文章第1段,找出圣诞节的真正含义。读第2段,判断正误。
设计意图:考察学生对细节理解的能力,同时训练学生的推断能力,通过字面意思来推敲文章深层次的含义,以此促进阅读能力的提升。步骤6:思维导图。读文章第3段,根据提示,完成思维导图。问题提示:Who

本次参评的课题是八年级下Unit5

B
(2a-2e)。整堂课下来之后,我仔细回想了上课的过程和各个环节自己的处理,学生之间及学生和老师之间的互动,学生最后的接受程度之后,我感觉确实有些地方我处理的不够理想。虽然我整堂课的教学过程中,我没有太多花俏的地方,就是实实在在地在教学生知识,在导入的各个环节,我的过度自然,给学生设计的活动,都符合八年级学生的认识规律,都不会太难,也不会太简单,并且也把一些时间交给学生,但由于第一次上录像课,我和学生都非常紧张,一些地方表达不准确,因此上课效果不如我所愿。

反思整节课,不足的地方有:
第一:黑板不能很好的利用。一些较难的单词配上黑板来教“音,形,义”的话,可能效果会更好些。
第二:学生活动的较少,可以再补充上两两对话,齐读等,让这节课的活动更加丰富。

从这次的授课过程中,我真的感受到自己要学的东西还有很多,比如整合教材、课堂气氛的调动、环节之间的紧密关系、学生的掌握能力等等都要有很好的把控和应变。

总之,这次活动是一种很好的锻炼和学习,更让自己清楚地认识到了以后要学的东西还很多很多,感悟也很多,学无止境,努力学习,让自己的课堂教学驾驭能力更加成熟,课堂的设计更加实在新颖。
