教材分析本单元以“rules”为中心话题, 通过talks about what you are allowed todo ;agree and disagree来开展。SectionB 进一步巩固和扩展了本单元的话题内容——青少年应该做什么,不应该做什么。本节课主要讲述了15岁男孩LiuYu,一心想要成为专业的跑步运动员,而父母却希望他好好学习考大学。在爱好和学业之间和父母的观点产生了分歧,就‘是否应该被允许做出自己的决定’的这一话题的展开,给出他跟父母的不同观点。通过本语篇理解,培养学生在日常生活中能用英语恰当表达自己的观点,有效的与他人交流。课标分析 英语新课程标准强调阅读教学以培养学生的阅读理解能力为能力目标,使学生掌握一定的阅读技能从阅读中获取信息 。
根据课标,九年级学生需要达到五级阅读目标:
1能根据上下文和构词法推断,理解生词的含义
2能理解段落中各句子的逻辑关系
3能找出文章中的主题,理解故事情节预测故事情节发
展和可能的结局
4能读懂相应水平常见体裁读物
5能根据不同的阅读目的运用简单阅读策略获取信息学情分析
初三学生经过英语学习,已经有了一些知识储备,同时阅读能力有所提高,对于阅读提取信息有了一个整体思路,从而可以积极配合老师进行篇章阅读训练。但由于学生们即将面临中考,因此在平时的阅读教学中应时刻具备中考意识,给与与中考题型相匹配的任务来提高学生们的阅读技能,避免中考不必要的失分。Be able to use context to understand new words.
