本节课是高三第一轮词汇复习中的一节词汇运用课，内容是高中英语必修五第三单元第二课时，本节课先复习词汇、短语、句式，再复习记叙文的写作要点，最后利用08年北京卷情景作文，让学生对重点词汇进行归纳总结，达到检测学生应用本课所学内容的掌握情况，同时对记叙文体进行写作训练。依据新课程标准，在课堂教学时本着单词—短语—句子—文章的顺序由浅入深、由易及难地进行词汇复习和运用，帮助学生学习灵活运用词汇和句型，并能就相关话题联句成篇，同时激发学生的环保意识。
学情分析
教学的对象是高三学生（以中等生为主），没有语言环境，学生基础相对薄弱，但他们学习英语有较强的记忆力和模仿能力，有较强的求知欲，但部分学生存在不自信，羞于表现等思想顾虑，但又希望能得到他人的肯定。因此我在教学活动中尽量让他们参与到活动中来，由浅及深的设计教学环节，环环相扣，每一环节都为下一环节做出充足铺垫，减少他们的恐惧感，但由于部分同学缺少丰富的语言基础，对某些任务的完成有一定的难度，通过学生间的合作学习，降低他们的学习难度，使他们体验到成功的喜悦。
