Ⅰ教材分析
九年级下册第六单元的主题是文学与娱乐。第二个话题是探讨文学的话题。Section A 是一节探讨文学作品中的人物的听说课。其中涉及的文学作品一个中国四大名著《西游记》,这作品及里面的人物是学生都耳熟能详的,另一个是外国文学作品《哈利波特》。也许学生不是很熟悉,但是,八年级我们的课本有提及这部作品,相信学生也不会陌生。本堂课对学生的基本要求是了解《西游记》与《哈利波特》里的主要人物关系,了解友谊的重要性,并能有所提升,表达自己对其他文学作品中的人物的看法和理解。
Ⅱ学情分析
本堂课是接班上课。学生为农村中学九年级学生。基础知识比较薄弱,尤其是口语应用水平比较低。很多同学甚至是没有用英语开口表达过自己的想法。
ⅢTeaching aims

1)能听懂有关文学作品的对话,并能够提取有用信息;2)能用英语谈论一些文学方面的内容。

敢于用英语表达对文学作品的不同看法。

1)根据需要进行预习;2)在学习中善于利用非语言信息理解主题。

2. Sentences:
1) He is a hero in the novel called Journey to the West, Which is one of the four classic novels of Chinese literature.
2) In fact, it was Sandy and Pigsy who helped the Monkey King win every battle.
3) In my view, neither the Monkey King nor Harry Potter would become a hero without the help of their friends.

ⅥTeaching procedures
Stage 1 Greetings and warming-up 1.Greetings.
2.Enjoy a piece of music (《西游记》主题曲前10秒《云宫迅音》) and tell what comes into their mind. 设计目的:《云宫迅音》是《西游记》最经典部分,一听就知道是《西游记》,能让学生由熟悉的东西迅速进入主题,做好铺垫。
Stage 2 Pre-listening
1.Lead students to talk about the novel Journey to the West, and deal with the new
words and phrases: one of the four classic novels in Chinese literature2.Know of the names of the main roles of Journey to the West, and talk about what they think of them.
3.Show a short clip of Harry Potter, and encourage students to talk about the main roles. Write down the adjectives on the blackboard.
设计目的:了解《西游记》和《哈利波特》中的主要人物,为听力做好铺垫。把形容词写在黑板上,为最后讨论喜爱的人物角色提供词汇参考。
Stage 3 While-listening
1.Watch the short passage in 1b and guess what will be filled in the blanks. 2.Listen 1a for twice and write the answers in the blanks.
3.Check the answers together. Give necessary explanation if students can
understand exactly.
设计目的:通过听力预测,让学生训练听力技巧,更能把握听力的关键,抓重点,提高听力技能。
Stage 4 Post- listening
1.Read 1a together, pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation. Correct it if necessary.
2.Retell the dialog together after the key words.
3.Prepare for 3 minutes and ask some students to retell the dialog according to the key words.
设计目的:学生的基础比较薄弱,表现力并不强。先听,再读,一起复述,做好这些铺垫,能给更多的学生信心,做好复述的准备,不至于让学生一头雾水,表达不出来,使得输出更顺利。
Stage 5 Talking
1.Group work: play a game. Divide the class into two groups, one is girls and the other is boys. Then compete:
What can we use to describe people’s character Describe as many as possible.
2.Set an example to talk about my favorite book and the character. My favorite character: Yang Guo
Key words about him: handsome, helpful, devoted, hard-working, responsible ★My favorite character is _____ in the novel called ________. I think he/ she is ______________.
3.Show some pictures of novels and ask students to talk about their favorite book ad character. They can use the adjectives on the blackboard. 设计目的:前面有很多的听、读、说的铺垫、输入。在有例子和黑板提示的情况下,学生能够言之有物,水到渠成地完成语言输出。
Stage 6 Summary

教学反思:
本堂课是借班上课,之前对学生的了解还不是特别到位。幸运的是,教学过程还是比较流畅的,因为有该班老师的帮助,以及教学设计中大量的铺垫,学生在输出方面做得还是比较能达到预期效果的。只是,因为时间关系和对学生了解的不彻底,在输入部分还不是特别到位,比如文章朗读的部分还是不够,在复述部分实际上如果给足时间,效果应该会更好。Unit 6 Topic 2 Section A
