一、教材修订的重点就是---删减超纲单元,避免话题重复;添加本土文化,拓宽文化视野;调整单元顺序,优化整体框架;精选题材体裁,凸显人文内涵。

同时添加本土文化,拓宽文化视野;例如:增加单元:Unit 2 I think that mooncakes are delicious! Unit 5 What are the shirts

四、阅读活动的加强
相较于七八年级的教材,我最喜欢的就是本教材的阅读有了大幅度的扩大,加深。尤其是阅读策略的呈现,既帮助学生在有限的时间里快速的提高他们的阅读能力,又拓展延伸,增强学生学习的兴趣。
五、教材每单元设计一个话题,并以此为中心,通过语言结构、功能项目为主线展开,采用任务型语言教学方式,以循序渐进的生活化的学习程序引导学生学会运用英语,有目的的做事,整体把握教材,加强单元教学设计 。单元是教材的主要组成部分,不但是全面体现新课程教学目标和教学理念的载体,也是一个相对完整的语言学习过程。 通过对单元进行整体设计,可以帮助老师从单元的角度把握教材的编写思想和编排结构,进一步吃透教材,从而根据需要整合教材,优化教学过程,使单元教学能体现整体性、相关性、阶梯性和综合性,从而提高新课程英语课堂效率。
根据课堂教学设计中的六个原则:兴趣性,真实性,交际性,阶梯性,拓展性,实用性。我们应该树立正确的新课程理念是关键,树立正确的教材观。
英语教学作为一门语言的教学,其主要是培养学生的言语技能,即运用语言的能力,因此其课堂教学具有不同于其他课程课堂教学的特点。在英语教学过程中,阅读教学是比较难得,也是极为重要的部分,其目的是为了培养学生快速获取和理解外语语言的能力。在英语教学中,阅读教学是比较难教的部分,也是极为重要的部分,其目的是培养学生快速准确地理解和获悉外语语言的能力。在各种英语考试中,也都把阅读理解当作主要测试项目,这就要求在教学中应该注重培养学生的阅读理解技能。
阅读又分为泛读与精读。快速浏览,了解文章大意,找出文章所给信息点为泛读;在此基础上掌握重点单词,短语及句型。能概括文章段落大意及中心思想,能翻译文章为精读。教师在平时的教学中,既要注重培养他们的泛读能力,更应该培养他们的精读能力,注意两种能力相结合。初中教学进入八年级以后就出现了较长篇幅的文章、大量生成的词汇。科技型、说明型、议论型、人物传记型阅读文本也日益增多,而初中学生所学知识肤浅,词汇量小,分析问题也不够深入。教师在较长文章的课堂教学中也要注意整体性的把握。让文本阅读与语言应用紧密结合。
本节课的亮点是课堂设计和能力生成。通过复习Section A部分的Lucy’s morning进行热身,通过911的小视频导入新课,通过读大意,读第一段回答问题,读第二段判断正误,读全文填空,根据关键词复述课文等形式对学生进行阅读训练,通过语法填空和改错两种题型坚持学生的学习效果。学生通过学习unexpected things最后学会怎样正确面对unexpected things的方法,这是本节课最出彩的地方。
本节课的不足之处:教师口语不熟练,部分环节的过度不太自然。
