Step 5 Post-listening activities
Listen to the tape and repeat. Then read and recite the conversation individually.

虽然how long,how soon都表示“多久”的意思,但区别如下:how long表示动作的持续长度,主要用来对一段时间(如in an hour,in two weeks等)提问。如—How long did he stay here?—For about two weeks.
How soon指再过多久,主要用来对表示将来的一段时间(如in an hour,in two weeks等)提问。如—How soon will he be back?—In two days.
用how long,how soon,how often填空。

maybe意为“_____”,它与may be的区别如下:

亮点:1.在导入时让学生列出周末活动并写在黑板上,这样就激活了学生的思维图示,并且引出了本节课所需的频度副词,紧扣本课话题。
2.根据现实生活与学生对话,从而引出目标语言 :What do you usually do on weekends? What do/does ...do on weekends?How often do/does...?
3.听力每个环节都有适当过渡语,且注意语言的抑扬顿挫,这样极大地调动了学生的听力积极性。同时适时给学生鼓励性的评价。
4.在听后活动中,通过让学生仿读、背诵、表演、改写对话等活动来培养学生的口头表达能力,同时用学过的频度副词自编自演对话,使学生更加牢固地掌握所学的语言知识。
5.通过教师寄语教育学生积极参加各种健康的周末活动,从而丰富学生的业余生活,开阔了视野,增进了师生之间的感情。
不足之处:这节课内容设计的点多,容量大,所以每一个环节的时间都比较紧,因此有的地方处理不深,有点蜻蜓点水。另外,由于时间紧,对于成绩较差的同学关注不够,分层教学做得不够好。
使用建议:1.预习内容一定要提前布置给学生,便于学生更有目的性的去预习,提高课上做题速度。
2.导入部分,不必要求学生们就都能快速掌握频度副词用法,在接下的活动中学生们会逐步感知。
