In this Unit, our textbook is designed to help students talk about past events or tell stories by using Past Progressive Tense. Students have learned Present Progressive Tense in Grade 7, so this unit plays an important role in helping students get a better understanding of Progressive Tense.

Students are able to talk about events with Past Progressive Tense.

1. 试讲中的导入,原先是以图片加问题的形式让学生回到问题,从而学习相关词汇。后改为教师口头提问,并循序渐进的用图片等提示和引导学生谈论storm,从而逐步渗透词汇。(这样的好处是让学生的思维层层递进,一方面更加有效的进行了词汇学习,另一方面对课文的热身起很自然的起到了作用。)
2. 新授词汇的领读环节应该在前,而不应该放在总结环节。(这样学生能更有效的掌握词汇,从而进行更加有效的输出。)
3. 试讲时,学案设计的层次不清晰,没有和课堂设计流程相呼应,后进行了Before reading,while reading和post reading的设计。(这样学生能更好的跟上教师的思路,提高课堂效率。)
4. 试讲过程中,学案中表格填空的设计没有层次性,后进行了相应的改动,以paraphrase 的形式呈现了几个填空。(这样兼顾了不同层次的学生的学习需求。)
