Unit7 SectionB2a-3C教材分析
人教版七年级英语下册第七单元的中心话题是谈论天气,涉及两个主要语言功能项目:一是运用“How’s the weather?”及描述天气情况来谈论不同城市的天气情况;二是继续运用现在进行时态来描述人们的及时活动。
Section B是Section A的拓展和延伸。话题上,拓展了谈论天气的表达法;在技能方面,进一步深化听说技能,加强读写训练。2a-2c 部分从谈论2a图片中的天气及活动引导到2b明信片的阅读,将本单元的互致问候、谈论天气、询问正在进行的活动等单元重点功能结构以明信片的形式呈现,显得自然贴切,而且具有实用性。3a是一个填写明信片的控制性练习,将描述天气、与天气有关的服饰穿着及人们活动以语篇的形式呈现。3b以回答问题的形式介绍撰写明信片的要素,为后面3c的开放性写作做好铺垫。
本单元要求学生能用所学语言谈论天气,能简单描述人们正在进行的活动,能用更丰富的语言问候。
本部分的重点是描述天气的词汇、现在进行时的用法以及明信片的文体特点等,难点是现在进行时的另一用法,即表示一段时间内正在进行的动作或状态。
现在进行时态是初中语法教学中的一个重要时态,在第六单元中就已经开始学习,本单元继续学习。而发展培养学生的阅读策略是我们要长期训练的重点。因此本节课是在对话操练和阅读能力培养的基础上落实教学目标。
教学反思

?? 本节课我围绕教学目标,设计对话反复操练,突破单词及语法重点与难点。本课的阅读教学,贴近生活,贴近学生,反映现实生活,实现了英语学习工具性与人文性的统一。在阅读活动设计方面,为了体现阅读教学的过程性,我在“阅读前”利用postcard一词激活学生的背景知识,也解决了一些生词障碍,帮助学生顺利理解文章。“阅读中”设计了不同的活动和任务,旨在培养学生的阅读策略和技能。“阅读后”的活动主要让学生结合阅读材料进行拓展性语言训练和运用:小组讨论,复述课文,读写结合。感觉目标达成得较好。
关于阅读教学,除了要把握好教材中阅读教学设计的特点,我感觉我们教师还要关注以下几个方面,以帮助学生通过阅读有效获取信息,提高语言能力。
首先,要重点培养学生的阅读技能,我们应把握好阅读技能培养和语言学习的平衡,不能把阅读篇章的功能仅仅定位为语言知识的学习。我们可以根据每篇文章的特征,有针对性地设计阅读技能训练活动。
其次,要重视阅读与写作的结合。阅读和写作在语言特征和语篇特征上有很强的共性。阅读有利于写作,我们应当把阅读与写作结合起来,在引导学生通过阅读获取信息和处理信息的同时,还要帮助学生分析语篇结构。通过语篇分析来学习语篇的结构特点以及信息和思想的表现手法。
在写作教学方面,我们要加强基础性写作训练,加强写作任务的过程性指导,积极评价学生的写作成果。当然这是一个长期的过程,我们还要积极深入的探讨。
语言如何输入,如何有效输出,是我们语言学习的重要研究内容。
教学设计

Teaching Aim and demand:

Teaching Procedure
Step1 greeting and organizing
Greet with the students and organize the class:Have a composition among the groups:The groups which can get the most scores will be the winners.
Step2 Leading- in
Enjoy a song:Rain Rain Go Away
Question :How’s the weather in the song?
Play the video and check the answer:It’s raining
Step 3 Activity 2a
Talk about the pictures:How’s the weather? What are the people doing?
Teacher and one student give an example.The other two pictures are talked in pairs.
Teach words:juice, mountain,postcard
Step 4 Activity 2b
Fast reading
Match each postcard with the correct picture in 2a
Play the tape.
Students read quickly,try to find the key words and sentences..
Ask the students how to match the picture..Teach the reading strategies.
2. Careful reading
Task 1:Read Postcard 1 and choose T or F.

4.Exercises:Guess the meaning of the words.
1).Show the new words on the screen,check if the students can read correctly.
