教材分析
本课是六年级英语下册Unit5 How do you get to school? 第二课时语法教学内容。
本套教材按照“话题—结构—功能—任务”的模式来安排教学内容,每个单元的语法结构服务于该单元话题的表达,语法学习的目的是为了语言运用。教材各单元的语法内容是按照“感知、发现、总结、练习、运用”的程序来编排的,各单元语法页包括语言结构总结(Grammar Focus)和语法运用练习两个部分。语言结构总结是在前面听说训练的基础上进行归纳,并以表格的形式对比呈现。语法练习分层次设计,从控制性、半控制性练习过渡到开放性练习。
本单元的语法要点包括:以how, how long 和how far 引导的特殊疑问句及其答语,用于谈论“方式”、“时长”和“距离”;一般现在时特殊疑问句和一般疑问句的句式及答语,用于复习巩固。
本课时主要内容:3a的问句和答句匹配练习让学生领悟、辨别正确的句型结构;3b要求学生在理解的基础上组句并回答问题,这是一个半控制、半开放性的练习,重点针对语言形式进行训练;3c则要求学生做调查,通过互动交流来巩固本单元所学语法项目,这个活动要求学生在具体语境中运用所学语言结构,学生在活动中会更关注语义,而不仅是语言形式。
教学重点:让学生学会how how long how far 特殊疑问句句式及答语。
教学难点:使学生能够熟练运用how, how long, how far引导的特殊疑问句询问出行方式、所花费时间和两地间的距离。

课后反思
本节课以how do you get to school?为中心话题,贴近学生生活,教师在教学设计中,选择创设与主题相关的尽可能真实的任务,新课标倡导任务型教学,让学生在完成任务的过程中体验成功,所以我采用了任务型的教学方法,任务的设置由浅入深,由易到难,分层次推进,从而激发各个层面的学生积极参与课堂,充分调动学生学习英语的主动性和积极性,培养学生用英语进行交际的能力,最后完成并突破how引导的特殊疑问句及表示乘坐何种交通工具的方式这一教学重难点,并且渗透了环保方面的意识,完成了情感目标的教学。
本节课让学生在老师的指导下,通过感知、体验、参与和合作等方式,实现任务的目标,感受成功。在学习的过程中进行情感和策略调整,以帮助学生形成积极的学习态度,促进其语言实际能力的提高。同时师生相互合作,相互沟通,相互影响,相互补充,从而能共识、共享、共进,这是教学相长的真谛。
多媒体的运用直观、快捷、合理,提高了课堂教学的有效性。在展示过程中,教师能适时的使用激励性的语言,极大的调动了学生的学习积极性。
不足之处及改进措施:
1.部分看似积极参与活动,但在笔头落实中常常出错。所以在今后做活动时,应适当把握节奏,在涉及某些重点短句子时,让学生及时做笔记,并且设计活动时注意口头与笔头的交叉进行。
2.该课时容量较大,对于基础知识薄弱,课堂表现不积极的学生来说,课后还需要加强巩固练习。
3.由于面对的六年级学生,所以课堂用语把握不太好,稍显生疏,没有在平时课堂上引导多操练课堂用语,应该在以后的教学中多使用课堂用语,使学生在潜移默化中逐步理解。
课堂教学的精益求精是我在今后教学中应该追求的,任何时候都不应该满足于现状。要随时发现自己的不足之处,以便及时改正。比如,教学要面向全体学生,每上完一节课都要回顾一下,在这节课上是否仍存在着“死角”?课堂上的发言面是否达到了95%以上?学生们是否能够主动地开口讲英语?只有不断地反思,才能取得更大进步。

学习目标:
知识目标:继续学习巩固how、how long、how far特殊疑问句,
能力目标:通过各种练习活动辨别特殊疑问句和一般疑问句的句式及答语,让学生能够根据实际情况,利用所学句型进行对话练习。
情感目标:在教学过程中适时地教育学生注意交通规则和安全,渗透环保意识,培养学生养成合理的选用交通工具。
教学重难点:
1、学习巩固how, how long how far特殊疑问句;
2、How long does it take to get to …? How far is it from your home to school?以及答语。
教法学法:
1 交际法和情景法教学。
2 以学生为中心和任务型教学,采用多媒体辅助教学,引导各层次学生自主学习。

教学过程:
Step1. Warm up:
1. Listen to a song, ask Ss to concentrate on it.
(通过听一首英文小儿歌热热身,激起孩子们的上课兴趣,)
Step2. new lesson
1.First ,show students the objectives of this class, and ask them to read the sentences aloud .( 要求孩子们大声朗读这些疑问句,即本课的目标语言,达到事半功倍的效果)
2.Then review the words that may be used in this class.
(快速复习学过的单词,让学生能够在后面的学习中运用到所学词汇)
3. Play a guessing game according to the pictures , and after that ,ask students to practice sentences using how far and how long .( 通过猜测游戏更加吸引他们的眼球,引起他们学习的欲望,趁热打铁继续下面的语言操练。)
4. Ask Ss to read the sentences in Grammar Focus ,T can ask them recite or translate .
Then ask them to find out what kind of questions they are.
5. Ask Ss to focus on the usage of how, how far and how long.
6. Have pair work using the target language.
(让学生朗读,观察并发现和归纳特殊疑问句和一般疑问句的规律,激励学生自主学习。
然后再一次进行两人对话,继续巩固操练,达到熟练的掌握句型。)
Step 3. Activity 3a
1. Ask Ss to read the qustions aloud , then ask some of them to say the Chinese meaning.
2. Match the questions with the answers. Then practice them in pairs.
(在这一步中,锻炼学生的语言模仿能力,有利于下面的语言输出。)
Step4.Activity 3b
1. first ask Ss to make these questions on their own, T can give them a hand if impossible.
2. Then check the answers, ask some of them to read the answers.
3. At last ,give students several minutes to prepare to ask and answer the questions in pairs.
(这一环节采取这些措施主要是锻炼学生的自主学习能力,教师能够及时发现学生的问题及时给以纠正点拨,做到掌握学情。)
Step5.Group work (interview):
1. Show Ss a chart containing who 、 how 、how long、 how far, ask them to make conversations according to the chart in groups.
2. Each group selects one student to show their work, T asks other groups to listen carefully.
(通过这一活动帮助学生能够正确地使用目标语言,并且使学生能够注意动词的人称和数的变化。同时培养学生们小组合作的能力和竞争意识,只在鼓励学生流畅的运用语言。)
