教材分析
本单元的话题是“Do you want to watch a game show?”,以谈论“TV shows”为主线,将不同电视节目的名称融入到小组活动中去,并且学会谈论对不同节目的喜恶,从而达成目标语言。
本节课是Section B的第一课,是一节听读课,第一部分重点呈现电视节目的表达,以及表达对不同电视节目喜恶的形容词。第二部分扩展到听力,在第一部分的基础上扩展到第三人称对不同电视节目的谈论,在充分练习听力的基础上加强对话和沟通,为下一环节的阅读写作做好准备,既巩固了目标语言的学习,又培养了学生的合作和交际能力。在话题上,围绕TV shows,进而引入cartoon,形象地描绘了Mickey这个卡通人物,与此同时,渗透了不同的阅读方法和技巧,培养了学生听、说、读的综合能力。
现在我们流行这样一种说法:一节课老师最多讲15分钟,剩下的要么是开展活动,要么就是让学生自学。叶圣陶先生曾说过:讲当然是必要的,问题可能在如何看待讲和怎样讲。可见教师并不是不能讲,而是要“精要地讲”。新课标英语中每单元至少有两篇阅读材料,我们现在一般都采用阅读教学法,通过发现问题、分析问题、解决问题来获得知识,强调自学与合作学习。因此在本节的教学设计中,我遵循新课程标准,侧重了以下方面:
1.创设真实的语言环境,鼓励学生大胆地使用英语,表达自己的观点,并对学生的观点及时地给予肯定,让学生获得成功的体验。
2.对阅读材料中的重点、难点和关键之处,在学生自读、自悟的基础上进行重点讲解,该挖掘处必挖掘,该品味,该讲深讲透的地方必须讲深讲透。?
3. 关注学生情感,创造民主、自由、和谐的教学气氛。把英语教学与情感培养有机地结合起来,在各种合作学习的活动中,促进学生互相学习,互相帮助,培养学生的合作意识和团队精神,
但是本节课仍然有很多不足的地方,比如说在听力方面,学生在进行了听力练习之后,只是简单地完成了给定任务,没有对听力原文好好地利用,如果对听力原文进行阅读和复述,那样学生的理解层次会更深入一些,目标语言的运用也会更灵活一些。
