一、 教学目标与要求:
1.能够听、说、读、写单词或短语science museum , post office bookstore, cinema, hospital。
2． 能够听、说、认读短语：near 在……附近 next to 与……相邻
3． 能够听、说、认读句型：“Where is the cinema？”
“ It’s next to the bookstore.” 并进行关键词的替换操练。
二、教学重、难点分析
1、掌握Let's learn部分的四会单词和短语。
2、准确书写四会单词和掌握单词museum的发音。

复习已经学过的地点名词。导入新课let’s learn。
（二）新知
1单词呈现
(1)“请你猜谜语”活动
初识新单词。PPT5
教师读句子，适当翻译，学生可以用汉语表达。
教师逐句读英语句子，1. We can see the films at the教师做中文解释，学生用汉语猜测为 电影院。 课件展示cinema ，教师领读一遍。学生跟读一遍。
2. If we are sick, we should go to the 教师做中文解释，学生用汉语猜测为 医院。 课件展示hospital，教师领读一遍。学生跟读一遍。
（2）学习本课重点：let’s learn PPT6-PPT10
PPT6-PPT10 图片与书上一致。并且插入了音频。此部分为本课重点，需要细致讲解。
PPT6课件展示，T:where is the science museum？学生根据刚才的已有水平，自己说单词。教师再拼读单词science museum，学生听音频集体跟读单词，小组读单词，开火车读单词。注意museum的发音。这个短语，需要单独解释两个单词，并纠正发音。
PPT7课件展示，T:where is the post office？学生根据刚才的已有水平，自己说单词。教师再拼读单词post office，学生听音频集体跟读单词，小组读单词，开火车读单词。强调o的发音。
PPT8课件展示，T:where is the bookstore？学生根据刚才的已有水平，自己说单词。教师再拼读单词bookstore，学生听音频集体跟读单词，小组读单词，开火车读单词。强调t和or的发音。

根据学生自己认知水平，可以直接说单词，也可以用说完整句子.

（6）展示书上的句型PPT23PPT24
PPT24 PPT25进一步理解near和next to 的意思和单词的使用。教师请学生重点读单词next to和句子“Where is the cinema？” “ It’s next to the bookstore.”并注意纠正其发音。
PPT25 --PPT29练习巩固句型。
PPT30 歌曲演唱，活跃课堂气氛，扎实掌握句型及单词。
（三）趣味操练 Make a map PPT31 PPT32
“小小设计师”活动：教师请学生先在方框里填上单词或短语，再根据所填写的地图进行描述，如：The post office is near the museum．The cinema is next to the post office．”等。利用句型“Where is the ---？”
“ It’s next to the ----.”自编对话

教学反思：
本节课的教学重点是五个单词的听说读写，在设计这节课时，我遵循了学生的思维发展规律，用学生已经掌握和学习过的旧知识，导入新课，导入新单词的学习。小学高年级学生的思维是从形象思维过渡到抽象思维的重要阶段，他们的抽象思维已经有了一定的发展，
但是抽象思维的发展很多时候还要依赖于具体、形象的事物的帮助。所以，在导入环节，我用学生已经学过的歌曲导入新课，注意力很快集中。接着我用以前学过的单词导入到新单词的学习，学生因为熟悉，体验成功，所以很喜欢参与，在每一个环节的设计上，我都采用了小步子原则，使学生掌握知识的同时，体验成功的快乐，保持积极的英语学习兴趣。教学的过程中，我多数采用了游戏的方式，使学生快乐中学习，课的最后我设计了真实的语言情景，因为言语交际是人脑思维对客观情景的反映，小小设计师这个活动，学生们积极参与，思维发散，敢于大胆的表达，学生真正的成为了活动的主体、学习的主体，他们在活动中学习语言，同时也在活动中运用了语言。达到了很好的教学效果。
