Questions with question words特殊疑问句
特殊疑问句的定义：
以特殊疑问词开头,对陈述中的某一部分提出疑问进行发问,回答时针对问句中的代词或副词来回答,不用yes no回答的句子叫做特殊疑问句
特殊句的构成：
特殊疑问句是由特殊疑问词加上一般疑问句而构成的例子

特殊疑问词：
wh开头外加能与之相结伴而行的名词 ,how以及它的形容词
例如what where which who whom whose how how many how old how much等这些词都叫特殊疑问词。
疑问词的选择：
一 对指物 名词或谓语动词疑问词用what:
I like chocolate best.
What do you like best.
二 对名词前的定语 疑问词应用which而且必须和名词连用
I'm going to take the shirt on the right.
如果对在这里the shirt on the right提问的话那么就是Which shirt are you going to take
三 对指人的名词或代词提问用who作宾语时提问用whom
My favorite movie star is Jackie.
如果对Jackie提问的话Who is your favorite movie star
I write to Alice twice a week.
如果对这里的宾语Alice提问的话Whom do you write to twice a week
在这里的这个whom是可以用who来代替的.
四 对物主代词和名词所有格提问的时候要用whose
It is my father’s camera.
这是我爸爸的照相机如果对camera提问Whose camera is it
五 对具体时间提出提问
如in the morning \ last Sunday这时, 疑问词要用when. 对具体的时间点提问的时候我们要用what time
I went to the pub last night.
提问last night When did you go to the pub
I arrived at the airport at 8:00 o’clock.
如果对8:00 o’clock提问What time did you arrive at the airport
六 对具体地点提出疑问疑问词应该用where
The pupils have a picnic at the foot of the hill.
对这里的at the foot of the hill山脚下提问的话我们要用where
Where do the pupils have a picnic
七 对表原因的从句提问常见的有because引导的从句 提问词应该用why
Jack was absent yesterday because he was ill. 他昨天因为生病杰克他没有来上学
Why was Jack absent yesterday
八 对方式或程度等提问的时候 要用How:
I usually go to school by bike.
对这个方式by bike提问就是How do you usuallygo to school
九跟how有关的一些形容词how many how old how much等
There are five people in my family.
对five people提问How many people are there in your family
She is seven years old. 对年龄提问How old is she
特殊疑问句在考试中的应用：
“对划线部分提问”是一种常见的句型转换题型，这类题实际上就是将所给的陈述句变为特殊疑问句。解这类题通常分三步完成：首先选准疑问词；然后改为疑问句语序；最后抄写剩余部分。
需特别注意两点：
一、注意疑问句的语序
1.对句子的主语提问，其语序是： 疑问词＋谓语＋其他成分？
She is their teacher． ?
Who is their teacher？
2.对句子主语的定语提问，其语序是： 疑问词＋主语＋谓语＋其他成分？
My book is over there．?
Whose book is over there？
3.对表语、宾语或状语提问，其语序是： 疑问词＋一般疑问句？
He lives in Beijing?
Where does he live？
4.对表语或宾语的定语提问，其语序是： 疑问词＋表语或宾语＋一般疑问句？
I'm looking for my watch．?
Whose watch are you looking for？
二、注意疑问词的选择
问“谁”用who或whom。
如：Li Lei is a doctor．?
Who is a doctor？ （对主语提问用who，对宾语提问用who， whom均可）
问“谁的”用whose。
如： This is his book．?Whose book is this？
问“地点”用where。
如： The ball is under the bed．?Where is the ball？
问“原因”用why。
如： He didn't come because he was ill．?Why didn't he come？
问“身体状况”用how。
如： I'm fine．?How are you？
问“方式”用how。
如：He did it in that way．?
How did he do it？
问“程度”用“how ＋被修饰语”。
如：The river is five metres wide．?
How wide is the river？
问“多少”用how much或how many。
如：I have a lot of money．?
How much money do you have？
He has been to Shanghai three times．?
How many times has he been to Shanghai？
问“多久”用how long或how soon。
如： He has stayed here for ten days．?
How long has he stayed here？
He will be back in two hours．?
How soon will he be back？ （how long指动作或状态发生了多久；how soon指动作或状态还有多久将会发生）
问“动作的发生频率”用how often。
如： I watch TV twice every week．?
How often do you watch TV every week？
问“哪个”用which或what。
如： I like this one among these three．?
Which do you like among these three？
I like English best．?
What do you like best？
问“什么”用what。
如：There is a book on the desk．?
What's on the desk？
问“职业”用what。
如： My father is a teacher．?
What's your father？
问“颜色”用what colour 。
如： An orange is orange．?
What colour is an orange？
问“星期几”用what day。
如：Today is Friday．?
What day is today？
问“几月几日”用what．．．date。
如： Today is July 1st．?
What's the date today？
问“时间”用when或what time。
如： I go there in the morning．?
When do you go there？ It is four o'clock．?
What time is it？
