教材分析:
本单元是鲁教版六年级下册第六单元。本单元的话题是talk about rules,主要是要求学生掌握祈使句的基本用法,学习规章制度,规范自己的行为,内容新颖,贴近生活,很符合六年级学生的年龄特点和心理特点。作为一名中学生,遵守学校,班级、家庭和社会公共场所的规章制度是必须的,在谈论规则时,熟练运用祈使句、情态动词can和have to,这是交际英语中必不可少的项目。因此,本单元对于提升学生的学习兴趣和提高学生的听、说、读、写能力有很大的帮助。通过本单元的学习学生能熟练使用目标语言,用口头或书面描述规则,能用英文表达一些标志的含义,能谈论对某些规章制度的看法。并通过检测,积极地、及时地寻找各自的不足,以便学生树立良好的内在动机,不断获得成就感。
Teaching Aims:
1.Knowledge aims: (1) 掌握语法:祈使句,情态动词 have to, must 的用法。 (2) 掌握交际用语: Don’t eat in class!
No talking! Do you have to wear a uniform at school? 2.Ability aims: (1) 能正确使用情态动词have to。 (2) 能熟练使用目标词汇和语言,围绕规章制度展开话题,发表自己的看法与观点。 3.Emotion aims:通过对规章制度的学习与讨论,教育学生规范自己的行为。
Don’t eat in class.
Step 1.Warming-up
Enjoy an English song. (Let it go.)
设计意图 :欣赏歌曲,在优美的音乐中热身,活跃气氛。这首歌的歌名及很多歌词都是祈使句,使学生在轻松自然的环境中熟悉祈使句,为本节课做好了铺垫,
Step 2.Revision
Introduce Mr. Don’t to the students.
T: I have a friend called Mr. Don’t . He’s a very strict teacher. He always says to his students :” Don’t do this,” don’t do that .” Now let’s get to know him .
Show a picture of Mr. Don’t and some pictures of school rules.
What will he say when he meets the students?
You can’t ____________.
Don’t ________________.
Read all the school rules that I showed twice.
设计意图 :本环节设计了一个人物Mr. Don’t , 通过Mr Don’t 对违反规定的同学的训诫从而直观生动的复习了句型和短语,介绍人物时给学生以悬念,很好的激发了学生的兴趣及激情。
Step 3. New Lesson
(1) A saying: No rules no standards.
T: We have lots of rules not only at school but also in other places. There are so many rules around us, why ? Because no rules no standars . (read it for three times.)
(2)Show a picture of a library
T; What rules are there in a library?
S:……
Show the pictures about library rules, and then lead in another kind of the imperative sentence ---No + doing/ n.
设计意图:以“没有规矩不成方圆”这句谚语导入新课,既清新自然又使学生有一种责任感,由此顺理成章的推出了图书馆的规定。
Memory challenge.
设计意图:利用Memory challenge来帮助同学们记忆所学短语;开展小组竞赛形式再加上一些奖励机制,以此活跃课堂气氛,提高学生的学习兴趣。
(4) Pairwork
T:”Do you know these signs?”
First, discuss in groups , then tell us the answers.
(No parking. = Don’t park. ……….)
(5) Grammar (No doing / Don’t do.)
设计意图:通过pairwork 练习No doing /n. 祈使句,前面已经对这种祈使句有了初步的了解,紧跟着一些机械性的练习以达到巩固的效果,最后的语法篇帮助学生系统的梳理知识,完成了感知---实践---理论的完整过程。
(6)T: So many rules are around us. Do you feel awful? Do we have to keep the rules? Yes or No?

(7)Ask a student to sum up the use of “have to “
设计意图:设置情境以任务的形式借助图片和关键词提示,让学生运用所学目标语言完成任务,促使学生间主动探讨,提高学生的学习兴趣。之后教师让学生总结haveto 的用法,教师补充。这一环节充分体现出在教学过程中学生的主体地位及老师的主导地位。
Step 4.Exercises.

设计意图:本节课是Section A的第二课时,涉及到一些语法知识,所以跟踪做一些练习,不仅完成了由理论到实践的过度,而且也对本节课的实际授课效果进行了很好的检测。
Step 5.Have a competition.(PK)
Show some signs and ask the students to remember them as many as possible. Then say them out in fifteen seconds. The group that says more is the winner.
设计意图:拓展一些祈使句的标牌(包含没学过但是日常生活中常见的),教师给出答案要求学生尽可能多的记住它们,之后去掉答案让两组学生限时十五秒说出这些标语。此环节有一定的弹性空间,可以选择难度低的学过的标语, 也可以选择有一定难度的自由展示。这不仅激发学生的挑战精神同时也向学生渗透了一些生活常识。
Step 6 Emotional education
T:class, do you know what’s the furthest distance in the world?
The furthest distance is that I’m in your side but you are playing with your mobile phone.
T:Show a picture of “wifi” and ask “do you know this sign? What’s it?”

T: show some pictures about playing with mobile phones in different places.

设计意图:本环节是一个情感上的升华。在学习了大量课内课外的标牌之后,在尾声部分通过最后一张wifi的图标引出社会热议话题----低头族,告诫同学们不要过分依赖wifi, 不要因为wifi影响朋友, 家人之间正常的沟通从而影响人们之间的感情。
Step 7summary
设计意图:通过让学生自己总结本课所学知识,让学生梳理知识点,依据课前展示的教学目标反思自己的学习效果。
Step 8Homework
设计意图:
基础性作业:用本节课所学的目标语言介绍一下自家的家规。既巩固了所学知识又为下一节Section B 的教学做好铺垫。
拓展性作业:通过上网或实地考察等方式了解一下公共场所的规章制度,如游泳池,电影院,高速路等。此项作业有一定难度,既能丰富词汇量,巩固目标语言又能培养学生尤其优生的挑战意识。

本堂课的优点: 1.我觉得本堂课中,两处导入做的比较满意。
1)开场歌曲Let it go 是当下比较流行的学生喜欢的歌曲,而且与本课所讲祈使句联系紧密。导入自然流畅,为我们这节课的教学目标做好了铺垫。。
2)对本课的话题的导入做得比较好。本节课一开始就设置了一个人物Mr. Don’t , 并以Mr. Don’t 的身份导出了本课话题talk about the rules.这样顺其自然地导入能调动学生的积极性,能让他们思考问题且用简短的语言回答,为练好练透我们这节课的目标语言作好铺垫。
2.学生在本堂课中得到了较为充分的口头训练,而且面比较广。尤其负责每个小组的组长同学,发言更为积极。课堂上在我极力鼓励和表扬下,一些原来在课堂上很难开口读英语的学生,本堂课上有极大的进步。 3.本节课我充分利用了多媒体教学容量大,直观性强的特点。利用在本班级里拍的图片和日常生活中常见的图标来调动学生思考的积极性。
有效的媒体手段有助于课堂容量、密度和速度的提高。尤其是在英语课堂上适当地使用多媒体手段,不但可以活跃课堂,更能提高学生的参与面,短、频、快的大容量课堂节奏能有效的吸引并集中学生的学习注意,从而最终提高学习的听课效益 本堂课的不足之处: 1.本节英语课上我的讲解基本上还拘泥于教材的信息,而开放型的、能激发学生想象力与创造力和发散学生思维的课堂比例还较小。
2.学生对教师组织课堂的教学用语反应较慢。
3.大部分学生能跟得上老师的节奏,敢说敢讲敢表现,但个别英语成绩较差的学生反应迟缓,学习较为吃力,缺失了与这部分同学的和谐交流。
这也说明学生的英语水平有待提高使英语教学的整合更加趋于完美,充分发挥出课堂的魅力,体验学习的快乐。
解决问题之方法: 针对以上不足之处,我觉得今后在教学中应从以下几方面来提高: 1.我们备课不仅仅要备教材,还要备学生。要根据学生英语基础的实际情况,设计一些开放性的资料来提高课堂教学质量。当然这些我们自己设计的教学素材不能脱离教材本身。
在平日的教学中,坚持用用英语组织课堂,尽最大努力为学生创造良好的学英语的氛围。
在老师的帮助下让后进生积极参与课堂,消除恐惧心理。老师可以在课前对这部分同学实施助学工作,即课前有目的,有策略的向他们渗透一些本节课的提问内容,如读单词,分角色朗读等等,这样他们就会由被动变主动,有目标,有信心,有动力,最大限度的完成课堂任务。
