Step one: Warming-up, talk about your favorite things
Step two: review the words
An interesting vedio for class to show the boy’s favorite things.And then ask the students “Do you have any favorite things ?”
“According to the pictures , talk about your favorite things”
First ask students to do some exercises .
Then ask students to stand up to answer and explain the questions
Watch the vedio carefully , and sing along with it .
According to the pictures , ask and answer in pairs like this : What’s your favorite ... ? Why do you like .. ? When do you ... ?

观看英文视频不仅创设了和谐的课堂氛围,而且自然的引入本堂课第一个复习要点,并且通过学生的参与对话提高学生的学习积极性与参与性。

Step three: Play a game
Show a picture to review the expression of date and time . Then give them more pictures, encourage them to stand up quickly and say it loudly.

A young teacher (a student) will go to the podium and show his answers.

Step five: listening and speaking
Ask students to listen to the tape. Then ask some questions.

教材分析:
本节课对六年级下册units1-5进行期中复习。其目标主要围绕以下几个方面展开:1、时间日期的表达。2、特殊疑问词、情态动词can的用法。3、交通方式的表达等。新授课时,以上内容学生已经接触过,但掌握熟练程度不一,因此需针对重难点进行分层次教学。充分让学生认识到自己的不足。另外,units1-5内容十分贴近学生生活,应根据学生的实际进行复习讲解,增进学习兴趣,发挥学生主体作用。

课后反思:
本节课较好地贯彻了新课程的基本理念,突出了学生的主体地位。学生通过自主学习、小组合作、上台讲解,体验并快乐着。具体体现为:
系统的复习了units1-5的知识点,并着重练习、讲解重难点,让课堂时间分段,内容分块。
尊重学生主体性,训练学生自己总结,自己讲解的能力。
3、设计环节合理,层层递进,并利用视频、游戏等环节激发学生参与课堂的兴趣。
4、合理利用信息化教学手段,显著提高课堂效率。
当然,要成功的上好一节课,我仍需认真对待,积极思考,大胆尝试。例如,
对时间的把握还需改善,学生在练习口语以及小组讨论环节略显仓促。
2、对于学生的评价以及鼓励稍显不足,应正确对待。
今后的课堂还应该注意精讲多练,给予学生具体的方法指导,循序渐进的养成学习习惯,提高学习的能力,做会学习的学生。
