本单元话题主要是讨论健康的生活,主要让学生进一步正确理解并使用动词不定式作宾语补足语和目的状语的用法,学会谈论对自己来说重要的事情,能对习惯及行为进行比较,养成良好的生活习惯(如作息习惯等),做到身心健康发展,学习内容与学生实际联系紧密,具有一定的实践意义。
教学目标 (Teaching target)
1.语言目标(Language points):
熟练掌握动词不定式的有关用法,理解良好的作息习惯自己来说很重要,在此过程中,掌握一些的词汇和句子,如:enough, effect, regular, the amount of, The+比较级, the+比较级。
2.能力目标(ability goals)
培养学生的阅读能力,掌握一些有效的阅读策略。
3.情感目标 (emotion goals)
通过一系列有趣的活动与任务,提高学生的阅读兴趣, 让学生懂得如何养成良好的作息习惯,学习解决日常生活中遇到的健康及情绪问题。。
教学重点(Teaching key points):
1)培养学生的阅读能力 ,掌握一些阅读策略。
2)掌握并熟练运用本课的词汇、短语及句子。
本课难点是:使学生掌握一些有用的表达 ,如 :The+比较级, the+比较级;The amount of 与the number of 的用法等。

课后反思
本节课是一节阅读课,我选择以任务型阅读为主,其他教学方法为辅来进行教学。让学生围绕着课堂任务分工合作,在活动中相互探讨、相互交流、相互合作,从而获得知识、技能和情感体验,培养学生的阅读能力,让学生学会读,并能及时地挖掘有用的信息。但本堂课,小组团队合作利用得不是很好,如果能让小组充分合作,会更加的完善本节阅读课的质量,让学生兴趣更浓。

Step1: 师(导入):
T: I slept very well, so I’m full of energy. Let’s watch a video, and find out what’s wrong with the boy.(看视频)
T:what’s wrong with the boy?
S: He feels sleepy, he didn’t get enough sleep.
T:Yes, he didn’t get enough sleep. So he can’t perform well in class. I think it’s important to get enough sleep. Today, we are going to learn Unit9 SectionB It’s important to get enough sleep.(板书)
Step2: Skimming

Twice. A long sleep at night and a nap in the afternoon.

Weather and Health
Different weather makes people feel different. It influences health, intelligence and feelings.
In August, it is very hot and wet in the southern part of the United States. People there have heart trouble and other kinds of health problems during this month. In the Northeast and Middle West ,it is very hot at some time and very cold at other times .People in these states have more heart trouble after the weather changes in February or March.
The weather can also influence intelligence. For example, according to a report by scientists in 1983,the IQ of a group of students was very high when a very strong wind came, but after the strong wind, their IQ was 10%,lower .Students in many schools of the United States often do worse in exams in the hot months of the year(July and August).
Weather also has a strong influence on people’s feelings. Winter may be a bad time for thin people. They usually feel cold during these months. They might feel unhappy during cold weather. But big people may have a hard time in hot summer.
Are you feeling sad, tired, forgetful or unhappy today? It may be because of the weather.
