本单元为初中英语《新目标》版六年级下册unit 10 Is there a post office near here ?
本单元的中心话题是通过一些方位介词来询问某一场所的位置。其主要内容都是围绕着问路、指路的一些语法项目展开的。通过本单元的学习,学生不仅要进一步掌握方位介词的用法和一些建筑物的名称,并且要学会阐述某一场所中各个建筑物之间的位置关系;同时能够向他人介绍自己所居住的地区,并培养在实际生活中辨别方向的能力,养成热心助人的品质。
学情分析
一、认知基础:
本课所选取话题,贴近学生生活,让学生有话可说。在知识方面,本人注意充分利用学生已有的基础,创设了贴近生活的情境,将难点、重点巧妙化解于各种形象的图片中及生活化的情境中,充分激活学生思维,让学生最终能够leaning by doing,达到真正运用语言的能力。
二、年龄特点:
初一下学期的学生英语学习积极性高,在课堂上敢于发言,乐于表现自我。
三、多媒体的介入: 为达到良好的教学效果, 利用powerpoint具有功能强大、简单易用、修改方便等特点精心制作多媒体课件,力求达到新颖,实用并能激发学生学习的兴趣.很大程度上改变了采用单一方式进行单向传播的传统教法,它具有更多的协作性、自主性、开放性、多元性和创造性。
教学目标
1.知识目标:(knowledge goals)

教学反思:本单元为初中英语《新目标》版六年级下册unit 10 Is there a post office near here ? 本单元的中心话题是通过一些方位介词来询问某一场所的位置。其主要内容都是围绕着问路、指路的一些语法项目展开的。通过本单元的学习,学生不仅要进一步掌握方位介词的用法和一些建筑物的名称,并且要学会阐述某一场所中各个建筑物之间的位置关系;同时能够向他人介绍自己所居住的地区,并培养在实际生活中辨别方向的能力,养成热心助人的品质。本课时主题贴近学生生活,能更好地调动学生的学习激情。整堂课我始终坚持以学生为中心,以任务型教学贯穿始终,努力给学生创设思维对话的空间,以培养学生的自主学习,合作学习的氛围,给学生创造使用语言的机会和自由,促使学生在不断的感知,体验,应用目标语言的过程中,提高了听说读写的能力。在教学中,我用了PPT来展示教学内容,实现教学目标。
优点:
一.精心制作课件,利用大量的图片为学生创设更加真实、自然的语言环境。在图片的选择上,我尽量运用学生身边熟悉的建筑物照片,图片的展示能给学生更立体的感受,更加明确空间位置关系。在听力前的pairwork环节我运用画图的辅助形式,激发学生的兴趣;再如:最后的写作环节,我设计的任务,就是让学生描述一下中学生Tom家周围的环境并规划一下他的上学路线。Tom家的小区就在学生们每天上学必经的路上,学生对于这部分小区非常熟悉,另外,Tom的上学路线也是大家每天上学的行走路线。因些学生的空间感很强,学生有身临其境的真实感,使枯燥的语法学习变得更加形象化,生活化。
二.本堂课的教学设计思路非常清晰,本堂课的课堂容量对于六年级的学生来说相对较大。既有听说的训练,又有读写的训练。在教学设计中,我本着“听说领先,读写跟上‘的原则,精心设计教学任务。任务设计环环相扣,由易到难,循序渐进。任务设计尽量符合六年级的学生特点,既注意了任务的难度与梯度,又兼顾了学生的学情。如听力1c环节,我把一段听力长对话改编为两段短对话,让学生有缓冲的余地,从而更好地完成听力任务。
三.教学方法上我采用跟读、自主探究以及合作讨论的教学法。在教学过程中不断地给予学生信心的鼓励,同时注意教学的趣味性。如在学习道路标志环节,我以一个“我演你说”的活动设计,很好地激发了学生的学习积极性,同时让学生更形象地掌握了所学知识,突破学习难点。
不足之处:
当一个或几个学生在表演的时候,少数学生没有融入其中,没有静听和思考,游离于活动之外,在今后的教学中要注意调控课堂,使每一位学生都融入情境中。
在授课过程中对学生的鼓励性评语可更丰富一些。
在最后学生展示环节如果有时间再有几个学生展示就更好了。
因时间关系,课后小结没能让学生自己总结,让学生自己总结自己说出来就更好了。
