Unit9 It's raining!(第三课时)
教材分析:
本单元继续学习有关天气的词汇,运用其描述天气,引导学生描述在不同天气情况下人们正在做的事情,并且通过阅读短文,提高获取相关信息的能力。引导学生谈论各地的气候差异及人们进行的不同活动,感受地域差异。本单元的内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,可以调动学生的学习兴趣和积极性,并通过谈论天气让学生意识到环境保护的重要性并积极参与其中。
教学反思
通过对Unit9 的教学设计,我个人认为有以下较好的几点:
热身运动中歌曲选择较合适,适合学生学唱及跟唱,内容与本课所学相关,能起到较好的引入课堂内容作用。
天气预报环节的设置,让学生参与其中,复习句型同时提高学生英语学习的积极性,并达到了学以致用的效果。
听力、阅读作为本课的重要环节,设计较为紧凑,基本上是由浅入深引导学生,每个教学环节衔接自然,环环相扣;注重引导学生听力及阅读技巧的训练,侧重方法学习,并让学生能有所学有所悟。听力之后的对话练习,提供给学生几张生活照片并结合所学天气与进行时,进而巩固听说练习。阅读之后引导学生联想到身边的天气、环境等问题,进而进行情感教育。
本课的最后一个“Hand Tree”小组活动是本课一大亮点,小组互动共同制作环保板报,给学生积极思考的空间,并引导学生善于用英文表达个人观点,小组协力合作,共同为我们的家园的美好而努力
也存在以下不足之处:
lemon tree 的音乐视频声音略小,在带动学生跟唱上效果不如预期。
课堂内容较多,每环节时间较紧凑,在pair work及group work中学生准备时间稍短了些,不然能准备或练习的时间更多些。
最后制作“Hand Tree”环节,部分学生英文表达自己观点时体现出词汇量不足,句式表达不准确等问题,不过通过小组合作,这一问题能得到有效改善还是不错的。
教学设计
Unit 9 It’s raining!
Teaching Aims:
1. Knowledge aims: Make the students practice the key sentences more by listening and pair work.Let students learn some main phrases by hearts.
2. Ability aims: To train the students’ good listening and reading habits and improve their reading skills.
3. Emotion aims: To guide students to learn about different weather in different places. Make students feel the beauty of the nature and try to protect our earth.
Teaching steps:
一 Leading-in
1.warming-up: enjoy a song “Lemon Tree”
设计意图:歌曲节奏感强,适合学生跟唱提高其兴趣。歌词中提及天气,心情,进行时态跟本课相关。
free talk: In China,what will you say when you meet a friend?
In western counties,what will they talk about?
设计意图:师生互动,感受中西方文化差异并导入课题。
二 Revision

设计意图:通过图片师生互动,同学互动结合新词,复习重点句型。

设计意图:引导学生听说练习同时复习重点句型,关注不同天气,感知地域差异,贴近生活,趣味性强。

设计意图:再次巩固重点句型同时,为学生阅读做铺垫,读懂图片,引导学生积极参与2b短文阅读。

设计意图:快速阅读以抓住段落大意为主,以匹配相应图片。

进而对学生进行情感教育。

Plant the “Hand Tree” with the students.(制作环保板报)
Four students are in one group.Discuss how to protect our environment and write the ideas on the “Hand Tree”.
设计意图:由上周末的植树节引到本课的课上植树活动,引导学生如何画“Hand Tree”一同为防治污染环保出谋划策。树立学生环保从自我做起,从身边点滴小事做起,以达到情感教育的目的。
