教材分析
本节课的内容是鲁教版六年级下第五单元的第一课时,本单元的中心话题是谈论交通方式,主要语言功能是谈论学生怎样去上学,与日常生活密切相关。在谈论话题时运用的语言结构为特殊疑问句,一般现在时以及各种句式的变化。围绕这一中心话题,结合学生生活实际,教材用贴近学生生活的图片,从基本语言知识到语言综合运用层层递进,听、说、读、写依次展开,引导学生思考、学习和运用语言,并寓教于学,对学生起到规范教育作用。本节课将采取有效的强化练习,使学生在交流的同时,勇于运用所学知识,并在运用过程中对所学知识进行创新,从而促进综合能力的提升。

四. 教学过程
Step 1. Warming up
1. Greeting the class.
2. Listen to a song. After listening,the teacher asks:How many ways of transportation(交通方式)can you hear(听见)?
(思路点拨:通过音乐导入可以消除学生的紧张感,音乐是大部分学生所感兴趣的,谈论音乐贴近生活,并且让学生有话可说,顺理成章的引入话题.)
Show the learning tasks.

(2)Learn to use “How,How long and How far” correctly.
(3)Hope you can choose green travel in our daily life after learning.

Step 2. Presentation
1. Show some pictures of different transportation and let the students say out the ways of transportation and then help them to say out the phrases.
2.Ask the students to read and remember the phrases.
3.Let the students try to sum up the ways of transportation in English. Then finish 1a.
(思路点拨:通过图片展示一些与交通方式有关的表达并引导学生练习,复习巩固了本部分的词汇,为下面环节的学习做铺垫。)
Step 3.Learning new dialogue.
1. Give the students a picture to teach new dialogue
A: How do you get to school?
B: I take the school bus to school.=I go to school on the school bus.
Show more pictures(subway,bus,bike walk,train) to practice the dialogue.
2. Listen to 1b. Listen and write the numbers next to the correct students in the picture above.
(思路点拨:先学再练,以说促听,以听带说,让学生充分练习所学句型,为完成下面的口语练习打下基础。)
Drill (work on 1c):Look at the picture in 1a. How do the students get to school? Make conversations with your partner.( Ask 4 pairs to act out in class.)

Step 4. Listening
1、Pre-listening
1)、Ask the students “Can you count numbers?” Let the students read the numbers together. Then listen and repeat.Then write the correct number next to the word.(Finish 2a).

课后反思
本节课是一节以听说课为主的课,主要学习学校学生如何上学,语言最基本的作用就是用来交流的,所以英语听说能力的重要性不言而喻,初一学生的听说是弱项,我们要以课本内容为依据大量进行听说训练。
本节课我从学生的实际情况出发,用音乐导入新课,在复习词汇的的基础上,用图片讲明目标语言,引导学生反复使用How do you get to school?尽量创设贴近学生生活的语境进行交际,并在此基础上拓展语言知识。在有了说的基础之后再进入到听的环节,内容就较为简单了,所以大部分同学完成的较好。由此进入说的环节,针对图片进行问答,练习本课目标语言。由此可见只要话题得当,知识掌握充分,学生还是很乐意张嘴说的。随后通过谈论我自己到校的时间和离家的距离,教授How long和How far的用法,为下面的听说做铺垫,降低听的难度。然后进入本节课的重点听力部分2a和2b完成听力训练,又进一步练习了本节课的重点知识。课堂中引进小组合作竞争,让学生充分参与课堂活动,极大的调动了学生的积极性,在学习过程充分体现和发挥他们的主体地位。活动中英语好的学生就表现突出,获得的锻炼就相对应多;对于英语表达能力差的学生,老师照顾不够,得到的锻炼相对少。所以在以后的教学中还应不断的探索,寻求更大的突破,让每一个学生在课堂上都能有所收获。
