本课时的话题是“发明”。介绍了我们日常生活中的一些物品的发明历史。如:电视、电话和拉链等,它们被发明的时间,被什么人发明及其作用等;从语言结构上,需要学习被动语态的过去时。在教学的过程中,应该在训练学生听说能力的基础上渗透过去式的被动语态这一语法项目。
1a-1c环节引导学生利用图片进行回答并且看图说话,这样有助于学生更好的理解记忆单词和句子结构。学生在回答问题的时候要用完整的句子,如:The telephone was invented in 1876.
2a-2c环节需要利用好课本的插图,在听力练习之前做好热身活动,引导学生利用图片进行看图识字,看图说话、看图预测听力内容等活动。在听力训练之后的听说训练中,尽可能交替使用主动语态和被动语态的提问,强化巩固学生对本单元语法的理解和运用。
2d环节侧重的是学生之间的合作学习,通过小组合作尽量让学生完成,老师适当引导。

(1)一般过去时被动语态表示过去经常性、习惯性被动动作或过去某一时刻发生的被动性动作,与主动语态相比,被动语态中主语是谓语动作的执行者。
被动语态的构成:was (were) + done
(2)主动语态变被动语态的步骤:
①主动语态的宾语变为被动语态的主语;
②主动句的谓语动词变为被动结构;
③主动句的主语变为被动句的宾语,由by引出,当不强调动作的执行者时,常省略。
④其它成分不变。
E.g.: Bell invented the telephone in 1876.
The telephone was invented by Bell in 1876.
