教材分析: 本节课是六年级第一单元Section B 2a-3b,在Section A的基础上,从“谈论生日”的话题过渡到谈论“某项活动或事件的日期”。本节课拓展了一些有关事件的短语,以阅读为核心,进一步巩固本单元的目标语言。通过有关活动和事件的安排,训练学生写英语便条。
学情分析:本课时的学习内容为安排课内外的一些组织活动,非常贴近学生的学习生活。通过互相询问课内外活动的安排日程,不仅可以增进同学之间的了解和友情,而且还能学会合理地安排自己的作息时间,养成有规律地生活、学习的好习惯,学生对此非常感兴趣。

Through group work activities, promote the friendship between the classmates。

六. 教学过程:
Step 1.Learning aims
1.Knowledge aim:
To master some of the common expressions of school activities, and can ask and answer to date

【设计意图】:出示本节课的学习目标,让学生对本节课的学习任务有明确的了解,让学生为下一步的学习做好心理和知识准备。
Step2.Lead in
T:I want to share something about myself.Can you guess who is this girl ?
S:Your daugter.
T:Yes,you’re right.This is my daugter.
T:In the first photo ,she is one year old .That day is her birthday.And her birthday is on July the 3rd.In the second photo ,she is two years old .And can you guess,in the last photo,how old she is ?
S:She is three years old.
T: Yes ,you’re clever! Now ,I want to know something about you .When is your birthday ?
S: My birthday is on ....
T:What's the date today ?
S: It’s December the 23rd.
T:What's the coming festival ?
S: It’s Christmas.
T:Yes,you’re clever.Now let’s see a video about American Christmas.We all know that the Christmas is a very important festival in western countries .Just like our Chinese Spring Festival.Please watch carefully,at the end of the video ,I will ask you some questions .Let’s share together.
【设计意图】:由老师的实际生活导入,可以提起学生兴趣。接着转到询问学生的生日以及今天的日期,复习巩固了日期和数字的表达。又问即将到来的节日是什么,引出圣诞节视频,让视频告诉学生圣诞节的风俗习惯更加直观。看完视频又问学生几个问题,让学生归纳圣诞节有什么习俗,可以加深印象。
Step 3.Review the date
T:Do you know these festivals and their dates ? If you know the answer,please hands up .
【设计意图】:通过对节日和日期的连线,复习巩固A部分对日期的表达。同时也完成了课本Self-check 2的内容。这一环节难度不大,唯一的情人节学生没有学过,通过讨论,学生也可以自己解决。
Step 4.Reading-School notice
T:NOw you will read a school notice.The students there have a lot of things to do this term.They are very busy.Let’s see what activities they have this term.

【设计意图】:这是一则学校活动安排的通知,所以关键词是活动名称和日期,通过本步骤可以训练学生抓关键词的阅读技巧。
Read again and answer these questions:
1.Why April is a great month ?
2.When can your parents come to our school ?
3.Is this a busy term ?And why ?
Answers:1.Because we have two ball games and Shool Day.
2.On April 22nd.
3.Yes,it is.Because we have seven big activities.

Step5 Game:Group work:Writing
T:Do you really like the festivals and school activities of the year?
S: Yes .
T:Would you like to have a festival that you really like ?
S:Yes.
【设计意图】:这是一节读写课,重点是把学生的写作思维发散开来,整堂课从大的一年中的节日,到学生的学校活动,再到自身的生日,范围从大到小,难度从大到小。再让学生编写小组成员共同喜欢的节日,不仅可以发散思维,集思广益,学以致用,同学之间的交流更加深了友谊。老师出示了10条短语给学生提示,同时也降低了写作难度。
Step 6.Happy writing
T:What day or festival do you think is very important in your life ?
S:It is birthday .
【设计意图】:通过这个名人过生日送礼物的小游戏,让学生把信息片段组合成一段文章,开阔思路,活跃思维,练习语法一般现在时,为接下来的便条的书写埋下伏笔。同时又拓展了送生日礼物的禁忌。与学生生活信息相关,学生更有兴趣。这个小游戏非常受学生欢迎,同时又反映出学生的很多问题,比如你可以了解到学生心目中的名人都有谁?是政界还是娱乐圈?是中国还是外国?他们对地方和东西的了解,他们的心理发展到什么程度等等。
Step 7.Englishi note
T:If the famous woman wants to invite her friends to her birthday party,she has to write a note or an invitation to her friends.Then how to write an English note
【设计意图】:由名人的生日引出便条的写作格式,先问中文的便条如何写,再对比英文便条的写作格式,更加容易记忆。因为英文便条和中文便条的格式非常相似,非常简单,所以只出示一篇范文,没有让学生自己写,而是放在家庭作业中。

Step9.Homework
【设计意图】:作业布置采用异步教学,既照顾了后进生,又充分发挥学生的想象力和组织语言的能力。让学生自己写邀请函给好朋友或父母,贴近生活,勾起了写作兴趣。

教材针对初一学生学习的需要,对本课时要求有三个目标要求完成。
知识目标:
本节课重点学习一些有关活动和事件的短语,并学会使用目标语言谈论活动的日期及安排。学习英语便条的写作格式。
语言目标:
本节课以阅读为核心,进一步巩固本单元目标语言。能够熟练对生日,节日及学校活动进行问答。
情感目标:
本节课话题贴近学生生活,让学生使用目标句型谈论自己,家人或朋友的生日,以及生活中的节日和学校的活动,祝贺生日,邀请对方参加生日聚会等等,与学生生活密切相关。在实际生活中大量地进行听说练习,学以致用,活学活用,完成了情感教育的目标。

Section B 2a-3b课后反思
首先通过本节课的教学,使我再一次体会到“兴趣是最好的老师”。在今后的教学设计中,我会在听说读写的每一个环节中注重情境语境的设计,让学生在轻松愉快中学到知识。
其次,深入研究异步教学,异步作业。学生无论从认知能力还是语言基础上都存在较大的差异,要让每一个层次的孩子都有所收获,都能有成就感,我们必须设计适合他们能力的教学内容。
最后,在一些环节的设计上,我还感觉有很多不够精彩的地方,比如,最后的学生编写节日的环节,就有很多不够完美之处。
总之,对学生进行语言和写作教学任重道远。我们要在实践中不断探索,以丰富多彩的活动来不断激发其学习兴趣,让课堂充满活力、充满情趣,让学生们学起来有滋有味,轻松自如。
