一、教学内容分析
本模块以英雄为话题,内容涉及科技、历史、娱乐等领域中的英雄人物。第二单元重点介绍了白求恩大夫的有关事迹,学生通过听、说、读、写等环节可以全面了解白求恩所作的贡献.
二、教学目标:
1. 知识目标:
(1) 话题:模块的中心话题是英雄,本单元重点介绍了白求恩大夫的事迹,通过阅读短文,了解英雄人物的事迹。
(2) 词汇:
能够拼写并掌握下列词汇的基本含义即在特定语境中的含义:Canadian, front, injured,invent,treat,treatment,local,operation.谈话了解下列词组:so that, on one’s own, give one’s life to, in spite of, take care of.
(3)语法:状语从句(原因状语从句,结果状语从句,目的状语从句)
2. 能力目标:
(1) 读:能读懂介绍名人的文章,进行简单的阅读技能训练,掌握其细节内容。
(2)写: 能够掌握人物介绍的基本方法,对自己心目中的英雄进行简单的介绍。
3. 情感目标:通过课文学习了解有关名人的事迹,学习名人的奉献精神,培养学生树立正确的人生观。
三、教学过程

Step 1 Warming-up and word-learning
1. Free talk: Talk about something about heroes.
〔设计意图〕与学生谈论自己心目中的英雄,激活学生的头脑。
2. Play a guessing game: Guess who he is.
〔操作方式〕给出信息猜人物:大屏幕出示一幅被遮盖住面部的人物图片,根据所给的相关信息猜人物, 同时学习新单词的用法。

〔设计意图〕列举出白求恩大夫的相关信息,激活学生们头脑中的相关背景知识,从而为他们了解话题,阅读篇章,讨论话题做好铺垫。
