本单元A部分主要围绕“未来的世界”这一话题,呈现了“运用一般将来时谈论对未来的预测”的语言功能,本部分呈现了一般将来时(will)的肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句和what引导的特殊疑问句,其中包括there be结构在一般将来时中的用法。
【语言知识目标】
1. 能掌握以下单词:paper, pollution, prediction, future, pollute, environment, planet, earth, plant, part, play a part etc.
2. 能掌握以下句型:
① What will the future be like? Cities will be more polluted. And there will be fewer trees.
② Will people use money in 100 years?
③ Will there be world peace?
④ Kids will study at home on computers.
⑤ They won't go to school.
3. 能了解以下语法:
will + 动词原形 来表达一般将来时态。
4. 学会表达自己对未来的看法;学会谈论自己未来的打算。
【情感目标】
通过引导学生展望未来,及对未来生活的设计,来达到前景教育的目的,同时也通过对前景的设想,让学生在潜移默化中反省自己的现状,使之对目前的学习、生活习惯作适当的调整,并不断改善自己的现状,使学生的理想观和价值观更为科学,更具发展价值。
【教学重点】
1. 学习掌握一般将来时的意义和结构。
2. 掌握There be句型的一般将来时态的结构。
【教学难点】
There will be句型以及fewer/more和more/less的用法。
教学过程
Step 1. Warming-up and lead-in
1. 在大屏幕上显示思维导图,让学生们谈论自己的未来及未来的生活是什么样的。
What do you want to be when you grow up?
How are you going to do that?
What will the life be like in the future?
2. 展示图片及文字,初步感受will引导的一般将来时。
(设计意图:用与学生感兴趣的话题导入新课,讨论将来的职业,进一步搜索其他活动,让学生了解本课的内容,以旧带新。)
Step 2. Presentation
1. 展示图片,根据图片及文字来初步了解句型和即将学到的语言目标:做出预测。
2. 1a How will the world be different 100 years from now? Read the predictions. Check A for agree or D for disagree.
(设计意图:学生了解教师活动,让学生在自然亲切的语境中学习新的词汇并学会使用一般将来时。)
Step 3. Listening
a. Students listen to 1b and circle the predictions.
b. Students listen again and check the answers.
(设计意图: 学生在前面的练习基础上完成1b。通过听力练习,使学生进一步学习和掌握一般将来时态。)
Step 4. Practice
1. Students practice the conversation in 1c and make their own conversations.

3. Students can use the sentence pattern "I predict..." to make predictions.
4. Make conversations about the predictions in 2a and 2b.

另外, after还可接时间点, 既可用于将来时也可用于过去时。

现在空气污染是个大问题。 pollute v. 污染 Bicycle is a good exercise. It doesn’t pollute the air.

时态:一般将来时1、概念:
(1) 表示将要发生的动作或存在的状态。
我们明天去看他。
We will go to see him tomorrow.
(2) 表示将来经常或反复发生的动作。
从现在起我将每天来。
From now on I will come every day.2、基本句型:肯定句:主语 + will +v. 原形否定句:主语 + will +not + v.原形一般疑问句:will +主语 + v.原形特殊疑问句:特殊疑问词 + 一般疑问句简略回答:Yes, I will. No, I won’t. 3、时间状语:4、be going to 和 will 的区别:1). be going to 表示近期、眼下就要发生的事情,will 表示的将来时间则较远一些。如:
He is going to write a letter tonight.
He will write a book one day.
2). be going to 表示根据主观判断将来肯定发生的事情,will表示客观上将来势必发生的事情。
He is seriously ill. He is going to die.
He will be twenty years old. 3). be going to 含有“计划,准备”的意思,而 will 则没有这个意思。如:
She is going to lend us her book.
He will be here in half an hour.
4). 在有条件从句的主句中,一般不用 be going to, 而多用will。 如:
