让学生掌握本课的单词:Big Ben, the Eiffel Tower, Mount Fuji, the White House, the Great wall,The UK, France, Japan;
掌握本课的句型:Where is…? Is it…? 及其回答。
能用所学句型谈论世界名胜及所在的国家,模仿书上句型编对话,能将图片与所在国家连线,能听懂听力中谈到的名胜及国家,能运用所学句型对图片进行猜测练习
2学情分析
针对学生比较喜欢旅游的心理,他们对周边的著名景点应该很熟悉,对美国的白宫、自由女神,日本的富士山等都不陌生,都应该有话可说,容易激发他们说英语的好奇心,调动他们学习的积极性,本节课重在培养学生的综合运用语言的能力,合作能力,通过仿编对话,培养创新能力。

教学重点:
1、能听懂、会说、能读本课的5个国家名称和对应的5个名胜古迹或景点名称:Mount Fuji, the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, the White House, the Great Wall, Britain, China, Japan, America ,France.
2、能听懂句型:Is it ……?Yes ,it is.和Where is it? It’s in …….

活动1【导入】教学活动
Step 1 课前热身。
1、Greetings.
2、Chant: Good morning!
Step 2 游戏。猜一猜: Where is it?
教师在黑板上画画,边画边让学生猜一猜老师画的东西的位置。
会用到的句型有:What’s this?
It’s a …….
Where is it?
Is it in/on/under/behind……?
活动2【讲授】新课教学
Step 3 引入新课.
T: (PPT出示图片)问:What can you see in the picture?(乐山大佛、贵州黄果树瀑布、峨眉山)
Ps自由谈论图片。参考句型:I can see ……或者There be……
T: Where is it?
Ps: It’s in Leshan./ Guizhou/E Mei……
T:OK. Now, Let’s have a look at the other pictures.
Step4任务一:Let’s talk.
(PPT出示课文图片及录音)
1、听课文录音,说说大致意思。
2、再听课文录音,尝试完成课本43页的练习。
3、再听课文录音,检查43页练习完成的情况。
4、听录音读课文,分角色表演课文。
Step 5新词汇和句型教学。
1、教 “the Eiffel Tower” 和“France”.
(1) T: ( Show the card of the Eiffel Tower) Is it the Eiffel Tower? Yes ,it is. Now,follow me,please: the Eiffel Tower, the Eiffel Tower, Is it the Eiffel Tower ?Yes ,it is. Do you know “the Eiffel Tower”? What’s it in Chinese?(埃菲尔铁塔) Where is it? It’s in ( France). Read after me,please: France, France, It’s in France.
(2) Listen and check Pupils’ pronunciation.
(3) Read together.
(4) Ask and answer.
A: Is it the Eiffel Tower?
B: Yes ,it is.
A: Where is it?
B:It’s in France.
2、用同样的方法教学: “Mount Fuji” “Japan” “Big Ben” “Britain” “the White House” “America” “the Great Wall” “China”。
3、Listen to the tape , then repeat.
活动3【练习】练习、布置作业
Step 6 Practise.
1、Listen and number.
教师把刚学过的地名打乱顺序念,让学生在教材上的图片处用1、2、3、4、5……的顺序标上序号。
2、Bingo game.
学生随意写下9个刚学的词组或地名,抽一学生随意说,其他的学生边听边划。每当3个成为一条直线时就说Bingo.最先划掉9个格子里内容的孩子获胜并得到奖励。
3、Listen and choose
播放听力,让学生圈出所听到的类容吗,抽学生分享答案,教师核对。
Eg: ( Big Ben ) France, Big Ben, America, Japan
4、Fill in the blanks then chant:
Is it (Big Ben)?Yes, it is. Where is it? It’s in ( Britain).
Is it (Mount Fuji)? Yes ,it is. Where is it? It’s in (Japan).
