本单元是一篇读写课,围绕健康生活话题展开。课文由四个小文段组成,分别介绍了安娜、王伟、托马斯和理查德4人的不同锻炼方式。安娜通过遛狗锻炼身体,王威通过体足球锻炼身体,托马斯骑车上班锻炼身体,理查德病后跑步锻炼。每一段按顺序讲述了主人公在从事某项运动的原因、过程和结果。在阅读课文时应该关注其所传达的主题:健康的生活离不开运动。结合课文,可以引导学生反思自己或身边的人生活方式是否健康,思考和讨论如何养成健康的生活习惯,制定运动健身计划,并能够给出健康生活的建议。

课后反思
本节课是初二下册第四模块Module 4 Seeing the doctor第二单元We have played football for a year now.是一节读写课。本课以是关于“健康生活”为话题,通过学习,让学生理解文章内容,能够感悟运动在生活中的重要作用,树立运动有益健康的意识,养成健康生活的好习惯;关心自己和他人的健康并给出建议;能够通过自主、合作、探究的方式在学习中增强相互交流、合作学习的品质。
首先,在教学中始终关注德育目标的达成情况。为实现本节课的德育教学目标,使学生在学会知识的同时获得丰富的情感体验,明确运动在健康生活中的重要作用。我运用了图片、视频使学生更容易理解所学内容,获得直观体验。在阅读之前引导学生明确运动的重要性,在具体的阅读环节针对具体情况给以学生具体的德育渗透:从保护动物到运动有益健康,从骑自行车环保到微笑生活,都注重发展学生好的思维品质,提升学生发现问题、分析问题和解决问题的能力。
其次,为使初二上学期的学生更好的理解文章内容,提升阅读兴趣,我设置了分层次的阅读任务,先让学生快速阅读,把握文章的主题和相关人物。之后是对每一段落细节信息的理解和把握。开始的视频猜测主题和学生喜欢的运动的视频,目的都是让学生在具体的情景中理解所学内容,提升学习的趣味性。
其次,在阅读的过程中,我注重对阅读策略的渗透,帮助学生归纳总结了猜测词义、判定大意等策略方法,通过判断对错、回答问题、选择答案、完成表格等多种形式评价学生对文本材料的理解。借助点读笔点读原文,对学生的语音、语调起到了好的训练提升作用。同时,在阅读过程中,充分运用思维导图的形式提升学生的思维能力, 使学生对文章的脉络和结构及语言有了更好的把握。
再次,为使学生积极的参与课堂,实现用语言做事情的目的。结合本课学习内容—Healthy living, 我设计了一系列情景:从一开始的根据视频猜测主题活动,递进喜欢的运动的视频,到最后的What should you do to keep healthy? 都围绕学生的实际生活和身边熟悉的人和事务展开,使学生自然而然积极的参与到课堂活动中来。
最后,为了有效的利用评价促进学生的学习,本课使用学生过程性学习成果评价表,让学生对自己本节课的表现,组长对组员的表现做出过程性评价,表扬先进,鞭策后进,增加竞争机制。同时使教师和学生本人能够把握教学中每一个环节的学情,查漏补缺,也为下一节课的教学做好铺垫。应该说,多数学生能够积极的参与到课堂活动中,体会到学习的成就感。与此同时,在设置阅读任务时,每项任务设置了不同等级的评价,按照任务完成的标准,如:是用短语表述还是用完整的句子表述,是自己回答问题还是同桌合作回答问题,学生获得的星值也不同,学生可以自由选择任务等级,这样,可以降低学习任务的难度,让更多学生参与到课堂中来。
但是,在授课中,我充分感到了整个教学设计的不足, 在教学中对于学生健康生活方面的知识拓展不足,还可以利用一些健康方面的英语名言来提升学生的学习效果。

一、教材分析:
本节课教学内容是外研版新标准英语教材初二下册Module 4 Unit 2,本模块以健康为话题,课文对话以看病为主题,涉及病情描述和治疗建议。通过学习,学生能够谈论病情和健康生活方式,关心自己及他人的健康,形成健康生活的理念。

“健康生活”这一主题,是学生感兴趣的内容。八年级的学生已经认识到健康的重要性,由于年龄的特点,他们乐于在课堂上展示自己阳光健康自信的特点,所以要通过对学生学习策略的指导,使他们理解文本内容,还要通过系列课堂活动使学生明确“健康的生活离不开运动”这一理念,了解分享健康生活的知识,把英语教学与情感有机地结合起来,达到与学生心灵共鸣的效果。同时,课堂上设计丰富的活动和任务,提高他们分析问题和认识问题的能力,培养他们良好的思维品质,促进学生相互学习,分工合作,体验成就感,发展合作精神。
