T:Yes. The song is about families’ jobs. Look, there are many different jobs.
T:What’s my job? What’s your job?
The students answer the questions.
T: Sarah is talking her families’ jobs with Chen Jie. First, let’s meet Sarah’s family.
The students look at the picture and say together. This is her father/uncle/aunt/grandpa.(设计意图:复习表示家人称呼的单词,为后面的交流做好铺垫。)

Ⅱ.新知
呈现
1. 教doctor
T:They are Sarah’s family. They have different jobs. Do you want to know? Ok, let’s go and have a look.
Look ,this is Sarah’s father. If we want to know his job. We can ask Sarah: What’s your father’s job?课件呈现句子,教师教读这个句子,并板书。
T: Listen. How does Sarah answer. 课件播放录音,然后乘此案句子:My father is a doctor.
听音跟读doctor,教师出示单词卡,教读单词,板书句子和单词.
教读:My father is a doctor.
Then let the students ask and answer in pairs.
2. 教farmer
T: Look ,this is Sarah’s grandpa. Let’s ask Sarah together.
引导学生问:What’s your grandpa’s job?然后引导学生回答:He’s a farmer.
呈现单词farmer,学生听录音跟读。
教师出示单词卡教读,学生齐读,个读,教师板书单词。
课件呈现图片,引导学生介绍He is a farmer. She is a farmer. They are farmers.
3. 教driver
T: This is Sarah uncle. Let’s ask Sarah together.
引导学生问What’s your uncle’s job?
T: We can use “his” to instead of “ your uncle’s”. We can ask :

四、【教后反思】
本节课通过谈论Sarah家人的职业而呈现了句型“What’s your father’s job?My father is a doctor.”以及doctor, cook, driver, farmer, nurse等单词,这部分内容与学生的学习生活息息相关,能激起学生表达的欲望。因此在设计本节课时,以本单元Meet my family这一情境为主要情景,并在这统一的情景下引领学生谈论了Sarah 家人的职业,最后谈论自己的家人的职业,实现了学习语言、操练语言、运用语言等一系列教学目标。
在本节课中在熟练的操练后应该更多的侧重语言知识的运用,让学生在真实的情景中,在多种形式的活动中表达、运用句型和这部分的单词,从而真正的培养学生的综合语言运用能力。
